I had a partially melted and smoking dryer plug that needed a repair. I called on a Monday hoping to get someone out that day but had to wait until Thursday for an appointment. I used this provider because of the good reviews on Angie's List. First bad service provider I have come across on Angie's List. They came out on Thursday with a one man crew (fine with me) to troubleshoot and make repairs. The electrician told me his assistant was also coming out to assist. This was fine with me as long as I wasn't being charged double for 2 guys (I was and then some). They troubleshot the box and my electrical service finally realizing the ground wire had slipped out of the dryer plug. They replaced the plug. I was happy at this point until they handed me the bill.
Using a worst case scenario, one man was here for an hour and the other man was here for 1 and 1/2 hours for a total of 2 1/2 man hours. The plug costs $15 at Lowes. Even if I figured the plug as costing $50, this company charged me $140 per hour per man to troubleshoot and replace a plug. I guessed what a fair bill would have been and this company charged me more than double my very generous estimate. Bottom line is they do relatively good work but they are they are totally outrageous with their pricing. I will not use this provider again.

Gentleman was very professional, called me and quot;ma'amand quot; all the time. Was uniformed. Answered all questions, was patient and did a lot of small requests that would have been troublesome for us. This is an older home and new owners so based on inspection report he carried out and everything suggested and more. The only suggestion I can make is we were told a worker would be at the house at 8 am. No one showed. I called the office at 9:30 and no one answered but I did get a call back about 15 minutes later. I was told the first job (we were told we were the first job) was taking longer than anticipated and worker would be there by 11 or 11:30 at latest. No worker showed by 11:30 and I was getting a busy signal. When I finally got through I explained we had been waiting 3 1/2 hours at a vacant home and if no one showed by 12:30 we were going to call someone else. He finally showed about 11:45. Said he had an injury. I don't fault someone for being late or having an injury but please have the courtesy to let us know. They had our phone number.

I've found my electrical contractor of choice...
I called around to get several quotes to complete this work. They were professional from the start (service call) to the finish (job cleanup), including a quick response to requested service work.
They spent the morning at my home and were professional and friendly to my whole family. They completed the work exactly as requested and make a few suggestions throughout the process.
The cost of the job was in line with my expectations and came in 60% below the highest rated Toledo Area Angies List electrical contractor.
I highly recommend you giving Perrysburg Electric a call.
