The oil change was my fourth so it was free. The trans. and brake fluid were a surprise but Mr. Ryan Berkel did a good job explaining the importance of changing these fluids. My main concern was time since I had to wait for the car and I was in a hurry. Ryan put an extra mechanic on the job and they got done in about 1/2 the estimated time. They even washed the car when they were done. This is a top-notch professional Honda dealer and I'm happy with the service. A little costly but you get what you pay for.

We negotiated the price of the Accord Crosstour with various dealer installed accessories from a list of Honda accessories. One of those accessories was a remote starter. After picking up the car when discovered the remote starter was not working properly. It would leave the doors unlocked when it was started remotely. We took the car back so they could figure out what the problem was. It took them about 3 to 4 days to fix it. They did get it to work, but I was puzzled as to why it was such a problem. According to the Honda literature it should have been a seamless plug in type installation. Then I discovered while looking online at other Honda accessories a picture of the remote control of the Honda starter and it did not look like the one we were given. When I inquired with the salesman as to why it didn't look the same we were told it was an aftermarket remote starter, not made by Honda, that they automatically substitute for the Honda made remote starter because most people feel the Honda starter is too expensive and people did not like the way it functioned. He said all the salesman did this routinely when people requested a remote starter on new car purchases. I found out that the Honda starter does more functions than the one they put on such as turning on the defrosters and other functions. We were furious. It felt like a scam or bait and switch. We were angry because we were not given a choice. We spent the next 4 months arguing with the car dealer and also involved Honda corporation. Honda corporation turned out to be little help because they explained to us that after the cars leave the factory and are purchased by the dealer they have little control over what the dealer does. They could basically only act as a mediator between the customer and the dealer. I feel the car dealer should have changed out the cheap aftermarket starter for the Honda starter we thought we were purchasing at no cost to us, but they would not budge on the issue saying the aftermarket starter is what we paid for. Finally after 4 months the best deal that they would agree to with Honda corporate help, which was little help, they would change it out for the Honda starter if we paid the difference between the aftermarket starter and the Honda starter. We reluctantly agreed because we were tired of fighting after 4 months. I still feel they should have switched it out at their cost since we thought we were getting a Honda starter when we negotiated the price of the car. I was more angry when Honda corporation told us that the sales manager at JIm White Honda told them that we were offered a choice when we purchased the car. There were two of us there when the price was negotiated and that that was a bold face lie. Even the salesman told us on the phone he had not offered us a choice. This is customer service at its worse. This was the 5th Honda we had purchased and it will be our last. I guess they are willing to lose all our future business over a few hundred dollars.

Oil change is was fine.
Cabin Filter. I ask what the cost would be and they said $75.00. As how much just the filter cost and it was $30.00.
I bought the filter and installed it myself. It took approx. 15 min to do. Had to remove the glove box (4 screws) to get to the old filter.

I never feel like they're trying to convince me to do work that doesn't need to be done. I have done business with them (previously Hatfield Honda) since 1986. When I'm ready to buy another car I will go to Jim White Honda.

Since this was a pretty long service appointment, I dropped the car off and arranged for a pick up. They will also give you a ride home or to a store, but I have someone close by, so I just went with them to get coffee. There is also a very nice waiting room at Honda with a TV, drinks and reading material. My husband thinks this is a lot of money just for maintenance, but this is my 2nd Honda and I've always done everything they recommend. My son bought my older car and it has well over 200,000 miles on it and going strong. They called my cellphone when my car was ready.
