Jamie D.
Oct 2013
We signed our contract on July 25, 2012 and were told our house would be done in approximately six months. It was finished September 19, 2013, nearly 14 months later. Whenever we asked when things would be done they always responded by telling us it was a subcontractor delay due to a shortage of them in this area and were always vague with dates. In August 2013, they told us they were having money problems and needed an advance on the remaining construction funds, which we were not willing to do. We ended up having to work through our bank having them write checks directly to the subcontractors in order to get the work finished. We did end up with a nice home, but I'm not sure it was worth the horrible experience we went through. We would definitely not recommend Forrester Werhle Home to anyone. Buyer Beware! As it turns out this is par for the course for them based on recent conversations with our neighbors.
