Could not set an appointment for the fall even after numerous attempts. He was not very friendly on the phone. They never called in the Spring to follow up and the coupon expired.

Paid $99 for service. Came out once to look at house. Didn't even bring a ladder just tried to eyeball the roof. Said would come back with his crew. 2 weeks latter I left a message, I did get one email back said he had gotten busy but no response after that. Didn't get my $99 back I would clearly not hire again.

I reached out to Chris through Angie's list. He came out to our home shortly thereafter to assess the situation (water entering the garage). Upon inspection of the roof, Chris advised that the roof above the garage was structurally compromised and that the most appropriate solution would be to replace the compromised roof shingles. I asked Chris to also replace the section of drywall on the interior of the garage that had been damaged by the entering water. Chris provided an estimate for these services, which seemed very fair. I did a bit more research over the next few weeks before calling Chris back and engaging his services. Once I did, Chris provided a detailed explanation of the work he planned to perform and the timeline for completion. Due to inclement weather, Chris did (understandably) have to delay the roof repair services. However, as soon as the weather cleared (about a week later), Chris called to reschedule. His crew was out the next day and they were able to complete the roof work that same day. The roof looks really good. They did a great job matching it to the existing roof and it looks fantastic. The next day Chris came back out to our home to perform the drywall repair. Again, the work done was very clean and impressive. Chris and his entire team were very prompt and extremely professional during all of our interactions. My wife also shared that Chris and his team were very respectful to her and professional throughout the process. Thank you for that! We are very happy customers and very impressed with Chris and the entire TCB Interiors team. I will surely call upon Chris again in the future.

I purchased the Roof Maintenance package for $149 on September 21st. I tried to call and schedule the appointment since the dates I chose through Angie's List had passed without a phone call. I did not hear from TCB interiors until mid October. When we were finally able to get an appointment on the books, I received a phone call the day of the appointment to see if I was available earlier so that Chris could come by to provide an estimate. I was really confused about his request to "get out there for the estimate" since I purchased a package for regular roof maintenance. I understand once you get up there and find additional problems then there may be additional costs, but Chris said no work was being performed only an estimate on the day of my appointment. The scheduler did not mention I was only being scheduled for someone to provide me an estimate or look to see if I needed more than what the prepaid service offered. I was very disappointed I made an appointment for roof maintenance only to be told that was not the package deal nor did he know what the $149 package was. Then he said he did not have anything with him to do any maintenance when I explained the package. At that point I cancelled the appointment because I prepaid for the $149 roof maintenance package and fully expected someone to be on my roof providing me with the service that was paid for. I also expected a summary of anything that may require additional work and the cost of that work. The ad was and still reads the services include: Here's The Deal: $149.00 for a roof maintenance package Package includes: replacement of up to 10 shingles, roof inspection, caulking exposed nail heads on flashing, resealing around any unsealed pipe collars, exhaust fans, vents, inspecting and re-nailing gutters, and any other general maintenance Checking for interior leaks that may not be noticeable from the exterior of your home Providing photos of other areas in need of repair and a summary report on any potential plan of action (if needed) The scheduling was extremely frustrating with Ayla also.

TCB Interiors and Exteriors were not only prompt and professional, they worked diligently with our insurance company. I would definitely use their services again.

Everything went great Chris and his team were very polite and patient with out adjuster . Once they started they had no hesitation to complete the job ! purchased a special deal on Angies list. after 2 weeks and 3 phone calls, still no one from the company has returned calls to schedule the work.

The job went really well. No one wants to spend a lot of money on a chimney. But it's something that has to be done. I was confident that Chris and his crew would do a wonderful job and be fair and stand by their work. I'm so glad that we hired him to take care of our chimney. If we decide to do any additional home repairs in the future,we will definitely call TCB. They were working every day as promised for 3 days to complete the repair. They also cleaned up after so you couldn't even tell someone had been working there. We are really happy with their work!

Chris Coyne is the owner. He went out of business after I turned him in for shoddy workmanship and bad material. Then he had somebody come around and actually got the job for him. He asked if I had any more work and I told him that he must be kidding me. He came out and he gave me an estimate on composite flooring and decking. He said it will last longer and he gave me spiel on that. He showed me what he was going to do and I said fine. I told him I just wanted half of it done. Get the deck done now and later on when I can afford it, I will get the rest done. He came over and the first thing he told me was that he can’t afford to put that in. It’s a lot more money than I thought. I asked him what he was going to do and he said he will put the decking in for me in wood. It makes maintenance problem and if I wanted, he will install it. He wasn’t here very much. He was here one day to help a little bit. He had a good carpenter but some of the nails he didn’t get down. He didn’t get the screws in and it started to warp out where the screws weren’t. When he cut the ends of the boards off, he didn’t cut in a very straight line and it went into the wood. I have got lots of knots and holes in the decking. I got to finish it and I have to figure out what I can do to fill them. The basic structure of carpentry work that was done, I am satisfied with it. He also told me that he could use the wood that was in the base and all the brackets. I went out and bought all that stuff separately for him. He told that the brackets are pretty shot. I spent my own money on a lot of things besides what I paid him. He told that he was having trouble and he needed the money upfront. I even did that. I got the job done but I am not at all satisfied with it. For the money that I paid for I could have got a better one. Even using the same wood the job could have been a lot better. He said that they have got trims left over from another job. If I wanted to put that at the base, he would do it. He told me it will be another $15 or $20. I asked him if he could give me those trims since I already paid for it. He told me that it was his. I asked him to put it in for nothing. I have already bought all this other stuff. He got angry and he left. His carpenter was still working. His carpenter said that’s the way he is. I paid him. I thought the price was fine for what I was doing. I thought there will be 2 guys over here because these boards are long. He had one guy who was working very hard here. He could have been helping but I don’t know what he was doing. His friend was a very religious guy and we talked a lot about stuff. He told me that he was getting his contractor to go to church with him. The next thing I know is that he is wearing a big cross on his neck. That is the first thing I didn’t like and I was thinking who he is trying to impress. Don’t sit there and put on a show for me and I don’t like it. He never had a cross on and all of a sudden he shows up with one. The price for what I got was bad. I tried to get hold of him but once he pulled out of here that was it. The other guy was here basically on time. Sometimes he had to go get material and stuff. He did and he came back. I wouldn’t even hire him if he is working for somebody. He told me that he was a member of Angie’s List and on his card it says proud member of Angie’s List. That was one of the things that made me hire him. From the time he started it was all downhill. He was always saying that it has been a long summer and he was trying to get this business going. He told me that he needed the business and he was going to give the business. He will get me what I needed. I think his problem was he was in debt. He was trying to get much out of it without putting much into it. He also got the material for the cabinets and brackets. After he took it apart he felt that it was pretty bad. He changed that here and there.  

On Nov 17th, Mr. Coyne came out and inspected a leak that had started in my spare bedroom.  He got up on the roof and saw that there were lots of loose shingle causing the leak.  At this time I signed the insurance loss report for my insurance company, I paid him 500.00 for my deductible and he submitted the form to my insurance company.  Several days later I called Mr. Coyne and asked if there was any type of temporary fix for the roof so the leak and damage would not get any worse.  He came out and put a tarp over the roof to prevent future damage.  We waited to start work on the roof until the insurance company sent me a check for the project.

In the time it has taken the insurance company to cut me a check Mr Coyne has never given me or the insurance a formal estimate or a contract for the work that needs to be done.  I received the check from the insurance company on the week of the 12th for $5,000+ I called Mr. Coyne to let him know the money has come in and that work could be started.  At this time he asked me to let him know when the check had cleared so he could start.  Two days later I called him after the check had cleared and he asked for the total amount in CASH up front still with no contract or estimate!  I informed him that I was not comfortable doing that, and I needed a paper trail for the insurance company and my own protection as well as his.  He then asked for a cashiers check which is the same as cash, I asked him why couldn't he start the project with the deposit that I had already paid?  He said that the deposit only covered the tarp that was on the roof.  He also informed me that a dumpster would be arriving at my home later that day and I was to pay the dumpster company $50.00 for dropping it off.  I refused to pay that informing him that should come out of my deposit as well.  He informed me this is always how he does business and other people have had no issues in the past doing business this way.  I was surprised to say the least.

  My insurance company informed me that I should only write a check for 10-25% of the total cost up front for the project, because we still do not have an estimate or a contract I don't know how much to pay him.  I informed him of this and he said that he would have a contract for me by Dec 19th.  I have not heard from him since.  He has contacted my insurance company letting them know that if I don't want to proceed with the project he would refund back to me all but 35% of my deposit.  I have nothing in writing showing how and where he came up with that number. I am going to give him till the end of the week to contact me with something, then I am going else where.

 I am a strong supporter of local businesses and I would like to see all small businesses succeed, but Mr Coyne needs to have better organization, follow through, and communication so persons such as myself don't lose confidence in him and his abilities to preform contracting jobs.

We are trying to sell our house and needed the ceilings fixed and painted.  Old house--lots of cracks in the ceiling from settling.  We hired them to paint our ceilings.  They returned our call immediately, matched any competitors' prices, and did a fantastic job.  They were meticulous in the work.  Chris patched every crack and made sure to clean up after he finished.  Very good experience.

The work is quality.  They were very professional and very nice.

 They were very fast. They took the time to explain to me about different shingles, and they showed me their driver's licenses to prove that they lived in town (after I asked). I had been frightened about being "scammed", but they were patient with me and did a great job quickly.

The whole project was completed professionally and without problems. Crew was courtious and worked hard all day. They started on time and worked until it was done. Roof was completed in one day and the chimney in three days. Made sure all debris was cleaned from yard and driveway. Outstanding contractor. I will recommend them to everyone.
