About us

Massillon Cable TV, Inc. was founded in 1965. MCTV provides cable television, internet service, phone service, and security monitoring to western Stark County and central Wayne County. MCTV is dedicated to providing world-class communications with small town service. While MCTV is among the 60 largest cable TV companies in the nation, it is still very tied to the communities it serves. MCTV employs local residents to provide local service. Many employees have built life-long careers of 25, 30 and more than 35 years.

The installer was prompt and professional.
Description of Work: Installation of cable in the bedroom involved running a cable around the baseboard of the room attached with staples, not very attractive. We removed it the next day. The quality of service is not worth the rather high monthly fee for basic cable. We lost service for almost the entire first half of the Superbowl and again during a show I had been waiting all week to see. I am currently looking for an alternative to their service.

I've been using them for two years. I have no other choice. They are okay; they are as good as anybody. The price is a little exorbitant; it's a little high. Their responsiveness is good but they do use subcontractors so I have to be careful. When they send out an employee crew, it is fine. I would use another company to compare if they came into the area. They charged a $65 service fee when they came out.
Description of Work: I have a package with Massillon Cable; it includes internet and cable TV. They were here six months ago for a problem and it took them a couple of times to find the problem.

I really like MC TV. If I call them, they answer my questions. If I can't work something I call them, and they walk me right through everything. I will continue to use them in the future.
