I met with Mike to replace my old wooden garage door. He said I needed custom door and gave me 15% senior discount towards new door. No door opener, no windows. Told it would be 6 weeks because of custom door. He said we would have to remove our garden- in the driveway for the installation. I said 6 weeks, the garden would be gone in November. It took a week and a day. He called the night before and said they would be there at 10am. His crew came out and installed new door. Then they left. We assumed they were at lunch. About two hours later I called Mike. He said they were done. I said there are gaps in door, broken glass in driveway, never told us they were done and I hadn’t paid,in cash as requested. He said he would be back today or tomorrow. He did come back later that night. We had cleaned up wood chip and broken glass from old door. I asked him first off, where is warranty? My service request receipt says warranty on reverse side. The reverse side is blank. Mike wrote on back of the form: cover spring damage. Insulated layer damage. Panel except dent. I asked him to sign it. That’s all I know my 3 yr warranty covers. Then I showed him gaps-all along the top, and down the side. He said because I don’t have electric opener. I reminded him we said we didn’t want electric opener- we don’t park our cars in garage. He said it couldn’t be fixed. Told me I could hire someone and they would say same thing. Said we should go look at any of our neighbors garage doors. I said my neighbors aren’t paying you $2767 for a door. My old door was plush. He said this is a better door, the best insulated door. I said it doesn’t matter if door is best insulated if gaps all around it. Finally he called someone and Mike was able to bridge some of the gap at the top of the door. When I complained about side gap he told me you are just trying to get money off. I told him I would be complaining and don’t use me as a reference. So he worked on the sides some more. He told me I went about this the wrong way. I paid him the balance and let him know I wasn’t happy. Before he left, I asked him to sign my order paid, which he did. I pointed out his tools he should collect. He doesn’t understand my frustration with having to argue with him for an hour to get the problem he said couldn’t be corrected done. He said he would have cleaned the broken glass in the driveway.(We should have left it, even though he may not return until the next day). He felt I should be immensely grateful since he got the door so quickly. He didn’t recognize the scramble we had to dismantle our driveway garden so he could do the work. The bottom line is he never said there would be a gap unless you get the electric opener. No warranty, high price for ? Custom door, poor workmanship, no clean up, told me nothing could be done and obviously something could be done. Not very professional. The reason for 2 rating is the door is nice

Very disappointed. When our garage door was installed it had a dent in one panel and another panel didn't even match the rest. Our old garage door was already destroyed or I would have told them to just put it back on. The man installing it joked that they wouldn't be putting their sign in our yard to let people know who did it. He did assure us that they would make it right and would put a rush on the order. Since they had told us the original order would take 3-4 weeks, I assumed it would be much sooner than that. Finally, after having to look at this eyesore for 3 weeks and 4 days and having all the neighbors stopping to stare at it, I called them. The woman that answered said that they had tried several times to get in touch with us but there was no answer. They had my husband's number. My husband only had one missed call on his phone from the previous week. He was at work so he was unable to answer, but they didn't leave a message so he didn't know who it was. So, if they did call it was only one time and there was no message. They finally corrected their mistake the next day. I had also assumed that maybe they would offer us a discount for their mistake and the time it took to correct it, but nope. We still paid full price. After reading other people's positive reviews, I would have expected much more.

I was surprised at how quickly they were able to install the garage door openers.  They quoted the price while on the phone and had the openers installed in just a couple of days.  They cleaned up after themselves.  Great service

For the garage doors I used Magic Doors. They are great. I have used them multiple times with the old garage door. They came a little bit earlier and it was quick. They got in here, got the work done and cleaned up after themselves. They spoke to me about the tension and if I had to change the tension on it, and they were great.

Was quick and efficient. Explained options and prices.

They had to come out 2 times but they were very helpful and very thorough. They did a good job and we haven't had a problem since.

Called yesterday and the technician was able to come out today.  He arrived when scheduled, determined & resolved the problem, serviced both opener & door.  It's in good working order now. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable.  I would use them again.

Worker was punctual and did a very nice job. Also greased garage door and left a can of lubricant for me to use in the future.

Excellent! Very professional. Ask for Mike if you can, he's a real pro. He diagnosed the problem in about 2 seconds (as soon as he heard the noise the broken motor was making). Very fast response time, I believe I called Brett (the dispatcher? 330-837-8100) around 1pm and he had Mike (with an assistant/trainee) there by 2:30pm the same day. Total repair time less than 30 minutes.

By my bad report it suffices to say I was highly displeased but I will NOT give details due to possible civil liabilities...

Service appointment went very well. He arrived just a few hours after we called, and repair was completed in approximately 45 minutes. Very professional and well done!

The service man arrived at time appointed.  He answered any questions I had. Enlightened me on how the opener worked.  In forty five minutes I was up & running.  I will highly recommend.

Excellent, there were no surprises along the way. Excellent customer service. They walked me through all options available to help me make the correct choice. I selected a high "R" value door. In pricing out comparable doors at 3 other garage door companies Magic still had the lowest price. The tech who installed my door was knowledgeable and professional.

Repairs only took about an hour.  Good experience.

Before having Magic come out to fix the door we went to their showroom, as we thought we likely needed a new door opener.The sales rep was courteous and showed us the opener he would suggest as a replacement. We were impressed with the opener and signed up to buy one.  As our door seal was torn, we asked them to bring a new seal with them. We made an appointment and went home.The day of our appointment, some of Magic's crew called in sick. Magic called and told us that they would be late for that reason. The workmen arrived earlier than they thought and did a thorough inspection. They proved the LED was why the remote would not operate the door. The LED was replaced with an incandescent, which solved that problem.
The door jumping was caused by the improper original installation of the door seal. Since we were replacing that seal anyway, the newly installed seal solved the jumping problem.The door was operating very smoothly when they left, and we are very satisfied with the results.

Magic Door came out promptly, called ahead to let me know they were on their way, and not only identified the problem (improper installation) but were thorough in making sure it was fixed and working smoothly.  They were very courteous and helpful.

The were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. I would recommend them to anyone.

I couldn't be happier with the installation and quality of materials.  They did an excellent job at re-flashing the trim around the door, removing the old door, and installing the new one and opener.  They also did a thorough job at cleanup.  They stacked the old door parts very neatly so that a friend could pick them up later. They took the time to do the job right and I am very statisfied with the job, from start to finish!
