Nat Comisar and manager Stephanie Sudbrack listed our home for sale.  Before we signed the listing agreement Nat Comisar was very positive about selling our home at the price we had set. He even said that he already had an interested buyer that was anxious to see the home ASAP.  As soon as we signed on the dotted line everything changed. Suddenly, Nat wanted to lower the sale price. He said the house would sit on the market all winter long if we didn't lower the price. He even called his manager Stephanie Sudbrack to get her opinion. Next thing you know we were lowering the price against our better judgement. When we asked about his interested potential buyer, he looked surprised and seemed confused. It was clear that the "interested buyer" was really just a ploy to get us to list the home with Sibcy Cline.
When we finally got an offer on the property, there was an issue with the inspection. The inspector found some mold in the basement so we called in an expert and fixed the problem. Basically the entire sale went south and Nat Commisar did nothing to assist us. He was like a deer in headlights and had no idea how to facilitate and solve the issues at hand. WE ended up meeting with the seller and their agent at the property 5 different times in an effort to resolve the buyers mold concerns. Nat Comisar was not at any of those meetings. WE held the sale together and Sibcy Cline got the commission. It was all very odd.
In addition, Sibcy Cline practically forced us to sign an exclusivity agreement with them, meaning that we were bound to purchase a home from Sibcy Cline after they sold our current home. There were a few times that Nat Comisar didn't have time to show us a property, so he gave us the code to the key pad and we used the key to let ourselves in. In these instances the homes were not occupied so maybe this is standard procedure for Sibcy Cline, but I wouldn't want agents to give buyers open access to my empty property.
Overall Sibcy Cline was unethical, unreliable and extremely unprofessional.

We suddenly found out that Nat  Commisar was not really working for our best interest. He was working as a dual agent and selling the property for his boss- Stephanie Sudbracks sister. Not only was Sibcy Cline aware that we were moving next door to a potentially dangerous situation, but they hid the information from us even when we had asked. The information was hidden from us to make the sale go through. It gets worse......
Nat Commisar  of Sibcy Cline began to threaten us out of pressure from his boss to get us to buy the home to cover Sibcy Clines lack of full disclosure. Sibcy Cline told us that if we did not buy the home we would be sued and we would not be able to get a mortgage for a new home.  (We had already been approved ) They followed through with their threats; Sibcy Cline contacted Mortgage House of America and told them to stop working with us on a new loan. Mortgage House of America immediatly ceased work on our new loan and referred us to their attorney. We are now being sued by the seller.
Sibcy Cline  made phone calls to real estate firms and lawyers and told them not to work with us.
So we had no home, no agent to help us find a new home and a company that blatently lied to us. Sibcy Cline did nothing to assist us in any way to rescind  the offer with the seller who was a relative of Sibcy Cline.
We found a new home that was listed by an opposing real estate agency. Sibcy Cline then demanded a commision from the property we eventually purchased. They even showed up uninvited at the closing to demand their check. They got it.
All we have asked for and continue to ask for was their assistance in having the seller allow us to back out of the contract. This is a plausible request due to the lack of disclosure and the dual agency role that Sibcy  Cline agents played in this mess.
I do not reccomend using Sibcy Cline to buy or sell a home. They want your money and they dont care how they get it.

We have tried to settle this situation out of court. We  requested that Sibcy Cline work with Seller Grant Troja to drop the case against us for $179.000 in damages. We also requested that Sibcy Cline  remove all contingencies and threats of ceasing future business with our lender so that we could move forward with our approved loan to purchase a different home. We requested attorney fees as well as reimbursement of the $1,000 a week that we are paying to rent a new home until we can close.
Sibcy Cline refuses to acknowledge any wrong doing on the part of their agent Nat Commisar and VP Stephanie Sudbrack- Busam

Michelle Daniels, Sibcy Cline made out buying experience which started out not the best, have a wonderful ending.  She made sure we were not getting into anything we didn't really want.  Michelle truly wanted us to be happy and kept encouraging us that we would in fact find the home we were looking for and we did.  Thank you Michelle!

I have never had a worse experience dealing with real estate agents at this office.  The first agent, Jeff Kaltman, was very unproffessional, pulled very poor comparibles (his comps were high by 25%), apparently did open house but didn't notice that contractors left garbage lying around (since he knew I was out of town).  The end result was I came back three months later and found out that there was a mess, and I never had the feedback.  How could an agent hold open houses and not give that type of feedback?  He also botched the first sale by not following the policies of his office, costing me $5k.
I complained and they gave me a second agent, Diane Whitworth.  She seemed at ok at first, and gave some advice to help sell the property, but then her arrogance started coming through.  She demanded all commmunication go how she wanted it, by email, without any notification emails were sent (and some never were received by me) and so there was missed communication.  Eventually we got in a situation where an unrepresented buyer asked to see the house.  She decided to take it upon herself to represent them as well and eventually started acting more like their agent then mine or a neutral party.
I highly recommend steering away from this office, or away from SIbcy Cline in general because I had issues with another agent prior to this sale.  There are a lot of other agents in the CIncinnati area, so there is no reason why someone should have to put up with unprofessionalism like this.

It was a wonderful selling and buying experience.  I have had nightmare exeriences in the past and so has my husband (he had a 4 hour closing one time!).  I trust Sheila, she knows her business and she knows the market.  She has a record of selling homes quickly for those people who will listen to her adivse.  She does open houses, networks with other agents, goes the extra mile to get your house sold.  It was a joy to work with her.
