Natorp Nursery Outlet and Landscape

Giving this company a 2 is generous. Please don't hire them. They have so many added fees in their final bill. My bill had an extra $3,500, which was more than a 10% increase for "general conditions". No explanation was given for this. The labor was $100 per man hour. The poor guys doing the work don't even see half of this money. I could go on and on. What I received for the $30,000 I paid was a piddly walkway. I still can't believe how badly I was taken. I worked with Tom Fryman. His communication was subpar. Theybstarted the job off incorrectly, so they had to do repair work, and they billed me for their mistake. This company is dishonest and greedy. Do yourself a favor and find someone else for the job.

They've done good work for us.  They are a little pricey but worth it.

It was terrible. Poor communication, products and project management. Instead of Craig working with us, he told me that he was not going to debate the price and send us straight to collections.

Look elsewhere if you need Landscaping.  One of the biggest problems was planning.  There was no one on site that really understood what the plan was, because of this there were several things that didn't get done correctly.  Because the job was done late in the fall they said they wanted to wait until spring to fix.  Well spring and summer came and it took me calling several times to get them back to try and fix the job.  Well it still wasn't completed correctly.  They brought out the wrong trees and planted them anyway and in one case dug out sod that was just laid to plant a tree in the wrong location.  Then after another month they finally return to dig out and put in trees to make it right, but just leave the big hole where they dug out the sod.  The entire time I had let them know the cables for the landscaping lights were just sitting on top of the ground in several areas, that was never addressed.  I was also billed incorrectly but it was like pulling teeth to figure it out.

When we moved into our new home 6 years ago, i wanted all the existing Landscape pulled out and replaced.  I actually started out with Bzak Landscape in Milford.  They pulled out everything and put in the new plants.  I wasn't happy with the service I received. The Designer didn't want to really work with me or come back.  So I did research again and found Natorp's in Mason.  I had them come out the next year and replace all the new Landscaping put in the previous year.  They put in a Sprinkler System as well.  The Designer was great to work with.  For the next 2 years, we kept adding to the job.  They came out when promised, did a good job. The prices are fair and I love going to their Outlet Center to shop around.  Then my Designer retired and I was thinking "what am I going to do"?  I dealt with one of the Owners and he was wonderful!  Very responsive, took care of my needs and even did some of the work himself if the Crew wasn't available.  So after 3 years, we are done.  It's complete and they did a great job!  Thank you Natorp's!

We paid big-time bucks to have this done and I think that for what we paid, he screwed us. He’s basically a super salesman for Natorp but his design work isn’t worth very much.

They do an excellent job. They are very knowledgeable, professional, neat and they do a great job.

They were very responsive, and professional. I was impressed with the fellow that came out, and his landscaping ideas, because we were looking for ideas, as much as we were plantings and everything. I was impressed with Natorp's coming out with their bid, it's just that we thought that their bid was a little bit too much. I felt the price was a little steep. They did what they said they were going to do, and they were punctual.

They are great and they are reasonable priced. They are always very considerate and edge things very nicely. They also blow all our walks off.  They also always get mowed before the weekend in case we ever have plans.

When you go there to buy flowers or whatever, it's very impressive there. They have greenhouses. I was also impressed with the knowledgeability of their staff, helping you choose plants that would grow in a certain area and give advice along those lines. I thought their prices are very reasonable compared to buying plants from Lowe's or Home Depot or Walmart. I expected them to be higher, but they are really not. I think the quality of their plants is better. As far as doing the lawn, they do a clean cut job.

It was perfect! They were friendly, capable, and they have excellent selection. Everybody knows about Natorp's. They are perfect. They have good personnel. They were knowledgeable and it was good value.

We lost a very large tree in our backyard in July and needed a replacement.  I contacted Natorp's and I was put into contact with Bill Knox.  We chatted over the phone about what I wanted and my expectations for the tree - Bill took my information, came to my home and looked at the site for the new tree.  Within a day I had an email with photos and prices, I emailed my preferences and Bill went out into the fields and found me my perfect tree and within 12 hours I had another quote.  All emails were answered promptly and efficiently, I really could not have asked for better service.  The entire process took 2 weeks from start to finish (would have been shorter but I went on a 4 day vacation) - I now have a beautiful 3" Autumn Cherry installed in my backyard with instructions for care. 

They were fine. They were knowledgeable and punctual. They do the work they say they'd do.
