Mason Ohio Mulch

We did a couple different things. I think we spent $300. They were able to deliver our stuff right away or the next morning so they were pretty responsive.

I was initially pleased with them because the person I spoke with was able to provide me with guidance on what type of

topsoil I needed for my purpose, and how much topsoil I would probably need.  He was also very helpful in taking down instructions regarding where to place the topsoil.
I was less impressed on the day of delivery because the soil wasn't delivered until in the afternoon - with no notice that it would be later in the day.  Much worse, however, was the fact that, despite my instructions to place the topsoil "to the right of the driveway so that I can get my car out of the garage", it was delivered smack dab in the middle of the driveway.  And, since it was delivered at the top of the driveway (that part of the instructions they got right), there was no way to get my car out of the garage until I dug through the topsoil.  Since I had an appointment to get to later in the afternoon, and the delivery didn't come until early afternoon, I had to dig at record speed to get enough of the soil out of the way so that I could get my car out.  I called Ohio Mulch to express my frustration and, while the gentleman was very apologetic, I didn't get the feeling that he was going to take any action to find out what happened or do anything to prevent it happening in the future.
So, overall, the quality and price were good, but that's all overshadowed if I can't count on them following instructions in the future.

I chose Ohio Mulch solely from Angie's list reviews. I called the evening of 6/12 to learn about purchasing mulch (I'm a first-time homeowner). The lady I spoke with was very patient and politely answered all my questions (how much do I need, different types available, bag vs bulk, etc). I called the evening of 6/13 to place my order and as others have said, I was asked when and where I wanted delivery. My credit card information was taken over the phone. 6/14 I came home for lunch and the mulch was at the top of the driveway as I requested. The receipt was in the mailbox. I did not receive a phone call prior to delivery like others say they did, but that was ok with me because I likely would have missed the call anyway. I gave a B for professionalism because the gentleman I placed the order with (my recepit says Terry) seemed a little impatient with my few remaining questions (although I may have misinterpreted his tone).

PHIL, THE SALESMAN WAS VERY DESCRIPTIVE OF THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE, AND WAS EFFICIENT AT TAKING MY ORDER. THE MULCH WAS DELIVERED ON TIME, EXACTLY WHERE I WANTED IT IN MY DRIVEWAY, THE FOLLOWING DAY. VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND DELIVERED HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL. THE EMPLOYEES WERE COURTEOUS AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.

SHOWED UP WITHOUT CALLING, DUMPED MULCH IN MY DRIVEAY, BLOCKING MY CAR IN. CAME BACK TWO DAYS LATER TO MOVE IT. DID NOT FOLLOW MY EXPLICIT DIRECTIONS
