JK Contracting

The name of the person was Kelly Denning. I did not check on his credentials. I posted all my requirements on the net. He looked it up and came over. He lived close by and I figured he would be good. I gave him the job but he did not do the job well. He did not finish the job and what he had done was not of good quality. After having spent $15000 for the job, I ended up spending another $8000 to reconstruct the shower. He would not return my calls or emails. He did not even collect his tools. He just walked out of the job one day and never came back. With the recession, many people are out of jobs. They buy a truck, put their sign on the side of it and call themselves contractors. They take on jobs and when the job gets complicated, they walk out with the money they have made. The worst part is that I have lost money and I see him still working around the neighborhood. I think he has to be stopped from hurting other people. My husband is an engineer and has grown up with a father who was a finish carpenter so he knows how to do a lot of jobs himself. This was a job we gave someone else to do and 3 or 4 months down the line a lot of water collected in the basement. He left my house in a mess. The basement had to be cleaned out and the job had to be redone.
