Very quick turnaround from ordering to installation. Installers very knowledgeable and thorough. Mistake made on cost by salesperson and have been promised a refund of overpayment.

I went to Countertops and Cabinets by Design for a qoute on granite countertop and semi-custom cabinets. There was a particular granite slab we liked. They quoted $81 per sq ft for the countertop. We got a quote on the same piece of granite from another granite installer at a price of $55 / sq ft, for the exact same slab! They were $26 per square foot more in price. What a rip-off! Their total price for 62 square feet was $5102. We installed for a price of $3620, for the same granite countertop and installation. We also quoted them for cabinets. They were again the highest priced vendor. We had them quote using KitchenCraft semi-custom cabinets, which is a fairly standard cabinet company used by many vendors. We quoted them against Lowes and still higher priced than the big box stores. Ultimately because was price, we used other Angie's List vendors that were highly recommended but gave better prices. It was good. I rather not say the cost. It took them about two and a half weeks. It was cabinet replacement, faucets, and appliances. It was excellent, it was a really good experience. Just the quality of work and the time involved. It didn't drag out, it was done in a very timely manner.

I stopped in and three sales people hung out with me for 30 minutes going through options. I was optimistic about the process. I emailed my design. Emailed a week later. Nothing again. Stopped in and was told they would get back to me. Nothing. So, two visits and two emails. They collected my name and even sent me a written note after my first visit. I'm not sure what happened other than I inquired if they were competitive with Lowes- maybe this was my signal that they were not.

Very happy with the outcome. Installers were on time, friendly, hard working and cleaned up after themselves. A month after install cabinet doors expanded with change of weather and installer returned and adjusted them soon after I called. The design help given in the West Chester store was excellent.

The day before scheduled installation, the company called to reschedule because the material had not come in. Of course by then all the existing countertops and sink had been removed so we had no kitchen to use while we waited. After installation there were a number of issues. 1) The main counter was fabricated over 1/2" too long so they cut a hole in our wall and poked the counter into it so it "fit". 2) One of the seams on the main counter is flush to start but by the end of the seam there is a gap which they filled with epoxy, but it is very noticeable. 3) Two of the shelves have notches in what should be a straight cut. So instead of fitting flush against the walls, they have a gap. All of these issues are the result of miss-measuring or miss-cutting and result in a sloppy appearance. We contacted the company a week ago and they asked us to send them pictures (as opposed to sending someone over to actually look at the problems). We have not heard back from them since. Update: The company finally responded to our concerns and sent a representative out who replaced one of the more unsightly slabs - so I changed the overall satisfaction rating from D to C. He said that they had switched from cutting the stone using an NC machine with a router to using a water jet cutter, and they were having some issues with it. I would recommend that customers wait until they get things figured out before they hire them.

I looked into your project and I see that although the outcome turned out to what we all expected it to be, it was a bumpy road to get there. As a standard we like to leave two weeks between your template date and install date to give us a little bit of breathing room for ordered items to arrive, we didn't do that in your case. Although two days doesn't seem like a lot, for you it meant the difference between dissapointing you by calling the day before original install was scheduled to push back vs. just installing as planned. There are no excuses but after discussing it with our party's involved from sales to production, I feel that the quality issues came as a result of expediting your job to get your countertops produced in two days and installed as a second job on a Friday afternoon to make sure you weren't without your kitchen any longer than you had to be as a result of our delays. Communication is always the key to success or the easiest place to start failure no mater if a project goes smoothly or when issues arise. I will take your feedback to our teams with the goal of improving responsiveness and making it more transparent to our homeowners what we are doing with the information they give us. Process was was relatively quick and painless. Stephanie our sales person guided us through the process, discussed the pros and cons of granite vice other surfaces and helped us to pick out which granited went best with our current kitchen color scheme. Once we made our decsions and decided on which granite the whole process took about 2.5 to 3 weeks. (They already had the granite we wanted in stock) Stephanie was there throughout to answer question and remind us when the templating person was coming and what we needed to do to prep. (clean off the counters) The installation day arrived and the guys showed up promtly and the work started, by the evening we had our new countertops and everything reconnected and cleaned up. All the people we encountered were top notch, - very professional and courteous. Overall a great company and good folks. The main factor that caused us to choose Countertops and Cabinetry by Design was it was essentially one stop shopping, the price was fair and they did great work. By one stop shopping - We did not have to find someone to disassemblel and reassemble the countertops, plumbing or electrical. - They did it all. My wife and I are very pleased.

Did not end up using this company for our project. Their selection of materials was more expensive and not as good of a match to our existing kitchen as the company we went with. They did not come out to house for the quote. They seem to nickel and dime you for every part of install

When they first arrived, it was discovered that the counter tops were incorrectly cut. They immediately fixed the problem and were able to install the counter tops as promised.

Everything went extremely well. When we bought our home, the sink was cracked. I tried to get more than one estimate but Coutertops and Cabinetry by Design was the only company interested in quoting the project. The day of the install, the owner came along with the installer to make sure everything went according to plan. They had to cut the old Corian sink out of the countertop. The process was very dusty due to cutting out the old sink and sanding the countertop but the end product was well worth it.
I love the new sink and faucet and the countertops look brand new.

Provided estimate for complete remodel of kitchen, laundry and 1/2 bath areas. Included cabinetry, countertops, sinks, basically everything but flooring. Also involved some structural work since the wall layout was changing slightly.
The process went very well. Worked with Krista to come up with a project estimate based on a design layout done by another remodeler. Krista was very competent and professional, understood our needs and explained our options.
Although we choose to go with another company, I'm confident CCBD could have done a very satisfactory job. Would recommend to anyone doing kitchen work of any size, consider them as a potential supplier.

amazingly efficient! Took only one day to completely install. Everything looks lovely. They did great work and were an easy company to work with. We loved visiting the showroom and picking our slabs, They were very accommodating. We started out seeking one product (which would have been more expensive), but we learned about and were won over by the granite we finally selected.
