Water Softener Service
THIS COMPANY WAS ASSIGNED TO US AS THE COMPANY THAT WOULD SERVICE OUR WATER SOFTENER AND PROVIDE SALT DELIVERY ON A REGULAR BASIS. ABOUT 1 MONTH AFTER WE HAD OUR SOFTENER INSTALLED THERE DEVELOPED A PROBLEM AND WE CONTACTED THEM TO SET UP A SERVICE CALL. THEY SET A DATE BUT COULDN'T PROMISE A PARTICULAR TIME. AROUND NOON OF THE ANTICIPATED DAY OF SERVICE THEY CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE WITH MY 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER THAT THEY WOULDN'T BE COMING TODAY AND HUNG UP. THEY NEVER MADE ANY ATTEMPT TO CONTACT AN ADULT EVEN THOUGH TWO WERE IN THE HOUSE. WHEN MY WIFE CALLED BACK A RECEPTIONIST ANSWERED AND DENIED THIS EVER HAPPENED THEN TOLD US THE REASON THEY COULDN'T COME WAS ''UNAVOIDABLE''. WHEN PRESSED FOR A BETTER EXPLANATION SHE REPEATED RUDELY IT WAS ''UNAVOIDABLE''. WHEN MY WIFE ASKED IF SHE COULD RESCHEDULE THEY PICKED ANOTHER DATE WHERE SHE WOULD HAVE TO MISS A WHOLE DAY'S WORK WAITING AND WHEN MY WIFE ASKED IF THIS WAS ACCEPTABLE THE COMPANY REP. HUNG UP ON HER.

OBVIOUSLY, CULLIGAN DOESN'T LIKE TO SEND BACK REFUNDS DUE AND PROMISED. UPDATE: COMPANY HAS SINCE GIVEN REFUND, BUT I DO NOT WISH TO CHANGE THIS REPORT SO THAT OTHER MEMBERS WILL KNOW HOW THIS EXPERIENCE WAS FOR ME.
