WE HAVE NOT SEEN OR HEARD FROM THE COMPANY SINCE. STEVE COCHRAN HAD CALLED THE "CALL BEFORE YOU DIG" AND THEY GAVE ME AN ADDRESS NAME AND PHONE NUMBER, WHICH TURNED OUT TO HIS FATHER. I TALKED TO HIS FATHER AND HE SAID HIS SON WAS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. THE FATHER OFFERED TO HELP WITH THE JOB BUT THE SON (STEVE) WOULD NOT AGREE. WHEN YOU CALL STEVE'S CELL PHONE HE NEVER ANSWERS HIS PHONE. WE HAVE SENT CERTIFIED LETTERS AND EVEN HAND DELIVERED A LETTER TO HIS DOOR. WE HAD TO TAKE THE GUY IN COURT. EVENTUALLY HE DID CONTACT US & FINISH THE PROJECT, BUT IT WAS A DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
Description of Work: HIRED COMPANY TO BUILD A DECK ON THE BACK OF OUR HOUSE. WE SIGNED CONTRACT ON JULY 12,2004 AND HALF THE MONEY UP FRONT ($1600) AND SAID HE WOULD RETURN A COUPLE DAYS LATER. ABOUT TWO WEEKS HE CAME AND MADE HOLES FOR THE POST AND FILLED THEM WITH CONCRETE.
