Job went pretty well.  Concrete work done well on first attempt.  Had to call them back to adjust the vinyl railing because it wasn't level and one of the posts was loose.  They came back after about a week and took care of that to our satisfaction.  They did take extra time to patch some smaller places in our concrete deck around pool.  Cleanup was good.  Workers were professional and courteous.

The crew was very punctual and productive - no wasted time.  All four crew members were obviously experienced and knew what they were doing. |There were some delays from the original expected project start (mid to late Nov till end of Dec), but once they mobilized they were very efficient and professional.  They completed the job in two days, with exception of now waiting for warmer weather to replace some concrete that had to be removed.  They are expensive, but very good.

The job was to stop basement water leak by digging down to foundation and installing new french drains, a sump pump and repairing and sealing basememt wall. Also the contractor The CONTRACTOR also WAS TO GRADE THE YARD FOR WATER TO FLOW AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AND TO THE STREET The company excercised little to no communication during repair and construction. process. A vague scope of work in contract which resulted in a very poor quality of finished product. The grading of the yard after 3 attempts is still not corrected,The gutter drain to the street was crushed and had to be repaired and at this time appears not to drain correctly

My steps were starting to sink and the mortar around the porch was beginning to crumble. Moran's crew came in and fixed the problems and installed new handrails at the same time. The only problem that occurred was that the steps had sunk and proping them up made the whole sidewalk look strange so I had them take out the old steps and put in a new one and then pour a new sidewalk. When it was all done it looked great. I highly recommend this company.

Moran Construction is wonderful to work with. They did an excellent job. All of our questions and concerns were addressed. They kept us informed of what they were doing and contacted the engineer we had hired to make sure that the repairs were done correctly. The crew was friendly and courteous. I would not hestitate to use them again.

We had to re-roof the house and it was more of a construction job.  When my husband, Howard, used him for plumbing, we got to know him and decided to use him for our roof as it was more of a construction job than roofing and it doesn't leak, now.  I give him high ratings and will continue to use him in the future if needed.

It went awful they go into more than they thought  and I did too The house is stable but not level .They called me in ask me what to do about jacking up the house?  I was told if we try to bring it back the bricks might fall off and you would have to get a brick mason in here to redo it. Well I am thinking I have to much money in this house already.[side note] 50.000 I should of told them gp ahead and if the bricks fall off you repair it!!

So I told then lift it up as much as you think you can and nail it down...Mistake the house will never sale because its not level.I believe I was talked into something that should of never been done.. ind sight the house was to bad probably should if been torn down But we were told it can be repaired.. I have learned a valuable expense lesson. They never gave me the life time warranty papers I called  didnt get a return call All in all Ram jack ..Jacked us over

The representative, Jodie, visited us and we discussed the jobs we wanted: Level house, put insulation in areas needing, add plastic on floor; R&R deck floor, fix railing, pour concrete in areas leading to deck; and finally enlarge carport parking and roof. Other projects were discussed but we decided to postpone. The crawlspace project was marred by lack of planning and a HUGE surprise found by the foreman, Russ, there was a big puddle of water preventing crews from finishing the insulation work. I was lied by the crews members when they said they were done and that the space was dry. Russ found it other wise and corrected to my satisfaction. Of course the cost went up. The other bad experience occurred during the deck rebuilt. The benches were not to be touched but were mostly removed due to an error in communication. Eventually the bench was fixed to our satisfaction. The deck looks great other wise. The carport extension was done next to a prized Magnolia tree, which was damaged severely during the installation of steel beams. Other issues of workmanship were redone by Russ to our satisfaction. No additional cost were incurred from the stated estimate. I believe the no increase in cost was due to our disappointment with the Magnolia, benches and the poorly constructed column. Through all of the issues, Russ, Kyle, Donny, Dan and Jeremy, maintained their politeness and positive attitude. It was really a pleasure dealing and working with them. During the construction we were visited twice by Mr. Moran, owner, and he listened to our anguish and praise for his crew and Jodie, the project coordinator. Some lessons learned and communicated to Moran were: Do something about the communication issues which surfaced Where appropriate show the customer drawings of the final product Separate the estimate into manpower and materials Everyday discuss with customer what is going to happen that day Make sure that the project manager, the foreman, and the customer are all clear on the expectations Continue to have the project manager visit the project often. As well as Mr Moran.

I was very pleased. Their estimate was quick and detailed. Their work crews were skilled and mannerly. They communicated very well with me and with our structural inspector/engineer. We needed reinforcement of a large concrete wall, and support for sagging flooring. They estimated the repairs to be $17K and did not exceed their estimate. An additional problem unforseen by our structural engineer was discovered late in the process and Moran did a great job in helping us figure out how to deal with an extra $13K worth of work. The additional $13K was not their fault, but they really tried to help us figure out the most economical yet sound way of completing the repairs. Overall, I was very pleased. I do recommend them to people when the topic comes up.

Overall They did a great job for what they had to work with. The home foundation was in [really] bad shape and they put a life time guarantee on the work done. They also had an engineer come out on some things they were not sure of and the owner of the company came once as I know of and was very courteous and friendly.I have already recommeneded them to someone else since then.I had watched some of the work was done and I know why they can put a life time warranty on their work, its done right.

They determined the previous waterproofing done was not installed properly which caused our wall to crack and bow. They were to correctly install the waterproofing and stabilize the wall that was damaged. During the process they determined the previous waterproofing was installed correctly and no changes were needed, however this was determined after the floor was jackhammered and needed to be re laid. They told us as a trade off for not doing the waterproofing work, which cost around 2500 that instead they would re install our ceiling tiles that they had to take down during the process (around 30 square tiles that cost 1.00 each) and we agreed. Over the course of the next few weeks we had a chance to inspect the work done to the tile and the floor they relayed and we realized that the floor had developed a large ridge and was uneven and the ceiling tiles were uneven and crooked. If we were going to basically pay 2500 for installation of 30 ceiling tiles then we at least want it done correctly, we felt this was not much to ask. We have tried unsuccessfully to have them come back to repair the problems for the past year. They tell us they are going to wait until a bigger "job" comes to the area and they will then fix ours. This still has not been done.
