MATERIAL DIFFERENCE

Description of Work: We paid $200 for a design service to change our current closets and master bathroom into a master bath with walk in closets. We said that we planned on moving walls and all fixtures. The price included up to 3 designs. | |On the plus side the provided around 8 designs. On the minus side they never really listened to us or interactively worked with us. If they had, we would have probably been done in 2-3 hours in a single meeting (after initial measurements). | |It seems that they are only interested in designing/showing you new fixtures and cabinets versus the physical design layout. | |I had to explain to the lady that a clothes dryer did not have to be on an outside wall, that they can push air around 50' depending on the model. (At one point we were looking at having the laundry in this space). | |After the first set of drawings had the washer and dryer in the space of the only window, we said move them out and we will put them on the other side of the wall because we thought the bathroom should have the window versus the closet/laundry. | |The second set of drawings still had the washer and dryer in the design. When I asked why, I was told that they were saving me money. I responded by saying I asked them to be removed, so the did a third set but had removed features we wanted. Frustrating. It would have been much better to sit in front of the computer and talk about clearances and move things around interactively.
