On the actual installation, they were very professional. They completely cleaned up every day. If you hadn’t seen progress, you couldn’t tell they had been there. They came back to check on it to make sure you were satisfied with it. Any problems you have, they come back and take care of that right away. They are just outstanding. They helped us with the design as well, so the whole design process was a lot of fun.

We were told we would get the estimate in the mail the next week. Three weeks go by and I call to find out if it can be emailed. Sure. No email. Call back and am told they have declined to bid our work because they just signed large contracts for others. Then we were told it was just too far out (26 miles) and sorry.

Excellent. Very professional in every way. I am very happy with the finished product. The price was higher than most, but you get what you pay for. I tried a cut rate contractor a few years ago and I got burned. The workers at Harrison were friendly and detail oriented. When I needed to have my hot water heater replaced, I used Harrison again for the same reason... Trust.

Excellent!!.  The workmanship is topnotch.  No detail is missed.  They arrived as expected and complete the work as projected.  I will use nor consider any other company for my future projects.

I highly recommend Harrison Construction in this area. They are getting ready to do a major remodelling job on my second floor. They’re Powell windows so they are a good brand of windows. Dan Harrison is very proud of his work and his workers. They will continue to cover anything going on with the windows for three years. They’re very responsive and very professional. The windows were big. I wanted a gigantic bay window. They’re not inexpensive but I got an estimate from them to do our kitchen at one point. They have great designs but we didn’t go that route because of the expense. My husband and I are retiring in a few years and we didn’t want to put much money into our house. They’re worth every penny of what you spend.

Very professional. Prompt, Efficient, Polite. Answered all questions. Got right to work and did not waste time. Protected existing furniture from debris and cleaned up. Offered suggestions and ways to make other improvements in home.

I called the service provider in early on a Friday morning to inquire about electrical services. They said their electrician was going to be away on vacation for approximately two weeks and checked starting the following week, but would check to see if he could squeeze me into their schedule. I heard back from them within an hour with a scheduled time in which the electrician would be available, before he went on vacation!
As requested, the provider called with the electrician was on his way to my home so I could not waste time waiting. He was able to quickly resolve the 3-way switch issues and ceiling fan switches. The electrical outlet seemed to stump him for a moment as it appeared there was an extra wire in the outlet box that we could to identify the where it went. After examining the wiring for a short while, he was able to correct the problem.
I usually ask for a demonstration of how the issues were fixed as I can be pretty handy myself, but understand my limitations. He kindly walked me through all of his changes and gave me a brief education along the way. The electrician was very friendly and professional. I would recommend their electrical services in the future.

Could not have been more pleased. The workers showed up on time every day, wore uniform shirts, and were very polite and respectful of our home and children. The quality is outstanding and they assured the everything was right and how we wanted for completing the project or expecting payment. A very pleasurable experience. So much so that for a next project, a bump out addition, we will most likely have them do that as well.

I had a lot of electrical, plumbing and ventilation issues on an older home to be repaired. They did a beautiful job. The price seems high but the quality of workmanship makes up for it. Dan and crew are easy to work with, knowledgeable and very good at creative problem solving. They guarantee work for two years.

They were great. The technician came out quickly. Overall, everything went nice and smooth. I tired to fix it myself but couldn't and they finished job.

Service was excellent, fast, and courteous--a class act overall! My hubby and I have successfully replaced most of the ancient knob and tube wiring in our old home, but we were stumped on how to hook up some 3-way switches and were near the point of divorce after spending hours!!! trying to fish new wires for two ceiling fixtures and related switches. We had contacted two other contractors to get these small jobs done. One (personally recommended to us) offered to do the work for a reasonable price, but never showed up to actually do the job and did not return my phone call. The second (McHenry Electric, which I've panned in a separate review) had us on their and quot;and quot;call listand quot; for the better part of two months but kept stalling whenever I called to check on status. Apparently they didn't want our business either. On the basis of the recommendations on Angies List, I called Harrison this morning and explained the jobs and the delays we had already endured. They said they would certainly be able to get somebody out this week or earlier next week to do the work. Within the hour, the very courteous receptionist called me back and said the electrician would be arriving in about a half hour! Sure enough he did and completed the all the work in just about an hour. He was also extremely helpful in providing advice on how to properly handle some additional knob and tube wiring that we plan on removing ourselves.

Took about half a day. Installation looks very good. I've used Harrison previously and have always liked their employees.

Had a problem w/TV going off by itself in room - or going on and off entire time trying to watch it; lights would dim on their own. This problem had been w/us since moving in 13 years ago when only the hall light would dim intermittently, but grew worse through the years. Finally, the switch in the hall and this one room (upstairs TV room) would NOT turn the lights on OR off. Very scary. I went to fuse box in the garage and no switches were and quot;thrownand quot;, but I knew that No. 7 controlled the upstairs TV room and the hall just outside of said room. I switched the fuse switch even though it was not in the orange area, and I heard the power come on upstairs (house is a split-level). This worked for a while that day, but began going off on its own and I threw the switch a couple of times and then became fearful of an electrical fire, so went to Angie's List (my son, Mark Sheppard, Enchantment Cove Lane, Charlotte, NC had used your services to obtain a company to install new hardwood floors and was quite pleased and he recommended that I try you). I called Harrison Construction, Inc. and I was told they were really busy, and it was unknown how long it would be before they could give us service, but I told them it was okay; I would wait. We just did not turn the light switches on again, and waited. It took four days, and the office called and said a repairman would be en route if that was okay. It was. He (Mike Harris aka and quot;Sparkyand quot;) arrived and was such a friendly fellow. He listened to my story intently, and at the end of my summary, he said that he had a feeling it might be a faulty fuse box! I figured with our luck, it would not be that simple, but it was the culprit alright. He took the cover off the fuse box; removed No. 7, and showed me where it was black on one corner and was a bit cracked. He felt it had arced on and off causing the blackness. He, luckily, had a new fuse on his truck and installed it then and there. He said he was 99 percent sure that was the entire problem. I told him that the light switch in the TV room was just kind of dangling there where my husband had been probably trying to get the electricity to come on. He had an accident three years ago and is TBI (traumatic brain injured) and one of the traits of a brain injured person is obsessiveness. He will do things over and over - things he would never have done before the accident. Mike (the repairman) understood the problem and quietly put in a new switch for me as I was worried it could be dangerous even though he said he didn't think it would be a problem. I truly believe Mike could sense my frustrations of dealing w/things unknown to me and why, and he just had that sincere and caring attitude. I told my son that they sent me the right guy, because it really lightened my spirits knowing I have someone I can now turn to for needed assistance. He told me he would be able to install a new ceiling fan in the room where the problem was that had stopped working. He said he could buy one and install it, or I could buy it and give them a call. He further told me that their business does all. kinds of house maintenance work, plumbing, etc.. I CERTAINLY WILL BE USING THEIR SERVICES AGAIN - and real soon. THANK YOU SO MUCH ANGIE. I have felt so lost these past three years when problems arose and I didn't know where to turn, and it is so nice to now realize I don't have to feel like that any longer. I met with the electrician twice. The first time was to review the job I was requesting and allow him to create an estimate. After receiving a very professional review of my estimate in the mail I contacted Harrison Construction to accept his bid and was immediately given a scheduled time to complete the work. The electrician was prompt and professional. He arrived at my home and installed the additional to the electrical panel. It was very quick and the job was completed professionally.

It had used them a few years ago. They just have one electrician, Mike, and he does a great job. The day I called, the said they could send him out the next day. They are very quick responding. Mike is very polite and friendly.

Harrison Construction was fabulous to deal with. They answered all my questions, scheduled my appointment quickly, got back with me when they said they would, and even called me the morning of the appointment to let me know they were running about 15 minutes late. The work was performed efficiently and professionally and the price was extremely reasonable. My invoice was accompanied by a packet of information about their business, the services they provide and proof of certifications and insurances. I WILL be using them again for more electrical work on my home. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.
