I called and set up an appointment about a week in advance. I was told to expect the service man between 8-9 AM. At around 8:30 AM I received a call from the technician. I explained the job to him over the phone He collected the necessary materials and arrived 45 minutes later. After a brief discussion when he arrived, the service man got to work. The job was completed 6 hours later. The job was done well. In addition the service man took care of the little details like being careful not to track dirt into the house from the crawl space.

They are good. I have them every time I have a problem. The guy took three lamps with him and it's been over a month but I haven't got a bill; when I went in to pick the lamps they said he will just charge me for the parts; I thought that was very nice. There wasn't any charge for him to do that then he'd been out here for the garage and still my bill was only $100; I didn't get that bill until two months after they have done every thing. They are good people and I like them a lot. The workers were fine.

Here are the facts. First, the technician was polite, but arrived late and seemed tired and worn out from an earlier job. The tech's appearance was absolutely unprofessional. He was unshaven, looked as though he slept in his clothes, and had mud (I hope it was mud) all over his filthy jeans and boots. We we have dealt with him before so we felt pretty comfortable with him and his quality of work. Not always the highest quality work, but certainly gets the job done. The technician did not show at the time they scheduled which was 8AM. We called and was told he would be there at noon. He was late again. Even though he was out in less than 4 hours (around 3.5) I was charged for four hours. He did a decent job installing the gas line, even going above and beyond to hide the line in the basement wall. The only problem is that it took a great deal more time (and MONEY) to do this and it wasn't even high on my priority list. The tech had some difficulty understanding the instructions for setting up the gas log fireplace leaving us to wonder if it had been correctly set up. So far there have been no problems that we are aware of. This technician is pretty good at what he does. He did take the extra time and effort to make things look good as well as function properly. The job got done right, but we felt it was slightly overpriced for the job and level of service provided.

Excellent work. Returned calls promptly, arrived promptly, completed work promptly. Very professional operation. Understood the operation of the Rinnai Tankless Hot Water Heater, and already had an idea of the problem before he arrived.

My water line unexpectedly broke between the house and the tap two days before I was to leave for vacation. I called everyone in town to see what they could do before the water company shut off my water. Carvers was not only the most responsive but the most detailed. They had a circuitous route to replace the line due to the elevation of my house from the street, the sidewalk, a retaining wall, and old water line. I left them with a key and went on vacation. When I returned my water line was repaired for what I found was a very reasonable price, the yardwas replaced and repaired where they had to dig, my basement was clean where they made the connection, and they had even replanted the hostas that had to dig up and called the city to put in a new tap box! I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Their responsiveness to our call was not great, but they had another client with an urgent need, so that was fine with us. They were very professional on site. We did not use them for the hot water heater project because it was done under a home warranty claim, but their quote was in line with the other vendors.

They do an excellent job. I highly recommend them. They had to unclog every line in my house because of all the calcium deposits. They are really exspensive. I would rather pay a little extra and get the job done right though. The guy who came out was very personable and very nice. I was very pleased with him.

Everything went very well. Very polite on the phone, easy to get a service appointment. Ted has done all of my work, and has always been on time and professional, with excellent work and great attention to every detail. No complaints at all.

They are an old company and they have been around forever. I have to chase them down to pay my bill to them. I would recommend them to others.

They do plumbing as well and I call them because they do more than one thing. They're punctual. They did a good job. Anything I have had them to do for me, I never had to come back out and redo something of it.
