RELIABLE BUILDERS

Since they subed the work out, there has been some things gone wrong. There is a hole in the kitchen ceiling that needs to be taken care of. I called the owner and he came to look at it and said it would be fixed and thats been five years ago. The workers threw cigarette butts in the yard and left them. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

It was a horrible experience. It took him 2 weeks to get somebody out here. He kept changing the cost after the original estimate of $5,600, he then said that was just for the driveway and added another $1600 for the steps. He started the steps first. There was a 3ft x 6ft hole where he removed the steps, that hole stayed there for 5 weeks and i had to put a board over it because he wanted to add more to the cost for him to fill the hole before installing the steps. The steps should have been 6 feet wide, but he only ordered 5 ft wide, so i filled in the extra space on each side with bricks on my own. We kept getting the run around, another 6 weeks went by and the job still wasn't complete, so we told him to forget about the driveway.

I called Angie's List to get his report. I didn't like his report. I called him back he told me I was approved. I told him it was too high. I cancelled with him and he asked me what he was to do with the materials. I told him I hadn't signed a contract and I could cancel.

THE WORKERS SEEMED TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I WANTED, BUT THE MANAGEMENT SEEMED TO ALWAYS TRY TO DO SOMETHING ELSE. FINALLY, ONE OF THE WORKERS SAID THEY UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND THAT THEY COULD DO IT. AMAZINGLY WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. IT SEEMED THAT AS SOON AS THEY HAVE YOU AS A CUSTOMER THEY RUN UP THE CHARGES ON YOU FOR ANY LITTLE THING. I FEEL THEY SCALPED ME.

MEMBER HAD THEM COME OUT TO GIVE A QUOTE- THEY TRIED TO CONVINCE HIM TO USE THEIR FINANCING. MEMBER SAID NO. MEMBER CALLED TO HAVE THEM DO THE WORK AND HE WAS TOLD THEY HAD HIS CREDIT REPORT AND AGAIN, ASKED TO USE THEIR FINANCING. INNAPROPRIATE.
