Dishonest and unprofessional company! We purchased a new hot tub from the owners son and were promised a 5 yr. warranty,bluetooth capability and water delivery. We received none of that! As soon as he had our full payment by check in his hand he became very hard to reach and unprofessional. When he would finally get back to me he would respond with "yup","nope" and "thx". The day the owner delivered it (yes the owner does the deliverys) our new hot tub showed up completely uncovered with the top cover folded and just laying inside strapped down. On top of that the tub had powder and gunk in it after his son told me the day before "it was cleaned and ready to go". The owner informed me his son "forgot" to send our warranty information and owners manual and we could just go to the store and pick it up. How nice, we live 45 minutes from the store! He assured me the water would be delivered that day, and it never showed up! We went the next day to pick up our manual and warranty information. Instead of the 5 yr. warranty we were promised we had a 1 yr. warranty! Also the hot tub was not bluetooth capable because the owner removed the audio system! I let them know about these issues immediately and was given the run around and a laundry list of excuses with no solution until I finally contacted the BBB. This got the attention of the owner finally and he contacted me asked me to send him the proof I had of his son making these promises via email and assured me if I could do that he would take back the hot tub and give me a refund. I complied within the hour he had his proof. Once again days go by I try and try to get ahold of him and finally he called me back. He gave me many excuses and assured me they would honor the 5 yr warranty and give me back the audio system. I told him I didn't trust their company at all at this point and did not want to get this run around if I had issues with the hot tub I was standing firm I wanted them to take it back. He at that point got very ugly and told me he didn't want to get into the "he said she said"! I gave him proof of what was said and found that very rude. He said he would only buy it back if I agreed to let them keep $545.00 to cover delivery and chemicals! I am sure Hot Springs gives those chemicals with new hot tub purchases and he delivered it couldn't he give himself a pay cut as the owner to do right by a customer? Apparently not! He brought his son to pick up the hot tub, his son acted like a sulky teenager and the owner acted like I was a piece of gum on his shoe. He took the owners manual from me at which time i assumed he would look the tub over and give me my check, no! he had it loaded and the truck running before I got the check! Please keep all communication with these people if you buy here, you will need it. We have lost over $500.00 because of their dishonesty,please don't make the same mistake we did. Do not buy from Fun Center Pools and Spas of Mansfield Ohio they do not run an honest business!
