I am overall very pleased with their work. As I get older, I am making changes around my house to make things more accessible. It is harder to hang off an 8 foot step ladder to change light bulbs than it used to be! Although I love do-it-yourself projects and had originally reinstalled and changed several outside and inside fixtures on my own (because I enjoy doing these things) it is time to admit it's not as easy as it once was so the electricians came out and helped me with the following tasks: changing the incandescent fixture to a directional LED light with longer bulb life; changed location of basement stairwell light from overhead to the side of the wall where it can be reached easily; updated all smoke detectors to replace the failing, 20+ year old models; changed out ceiling fan; installed new lights on exterior of home (five total) plus other miscellaneous similar things. To initiate the work, I talked with Steve and he recommended each time that I pick out all fixtures and call him when they arrived. On all three occasions, upon receiving my call, he promptly scheduled the work and the electrician(s) arrived as agreed and called if running late, etc. They were all very polite and asked me how I would like things done. They unpacked and assembled fixtures, cleaned up and were neat and concerned about tracking or leaving dirt. All their employees were very respectful of my home. They made sure everything had light bulbs and was working properly before they left. I would not hesitate to use them again. It is often times hard to find contractors who will undertake a very small job so I appreciated being able to access electricians who could help me make my house safer and more liveable. Cost was more than doing it myself but hey, these guys are professionals and were worth it.
Description of Work: Over the past year I have had them raise outlets to accomodate a new counter area in my kitchen, move and install replacement lighting fixtures and change out hardwired smoke detectors.
