They were prompt, efficient and professional. They were able to deliver and stack the firewood in less than an hour. Their price is competitive and matches their customer satisfaction. I will definitely continue to use them in the future.

I called and got a quote over the phone for a half a cord of wood for $125.00 ... So that's how much cash I had when he came to deliver... After he got all the wood off the truck he ( this was a different man from who quoted me) told me I owed him $145.00 - I said I was quoted $125.00-He called back to the office and the girl told him $145.00.... we told him " look we got your number from Angie's List and we were told $125.00 over the phone... the man who delivered it said," I'm not loading this back on the truck... they can take it out of my pay if they have to." So we paid him the $125.00 and he left. We had used them once before and it was an A+ experience... so I think this was just a bit of miscommunication on their part. I would still use them again, but I'd ask who I was speaking to and make sure of the price.....

Called 4 different places to compare cord and half cord prices. This was the lowest price and could deliver the week we wanted it. As the delivery date approached, we needed to reschedule. It was not a problem. Wood was delivered on rescheduled day as planned. Dumped in driveway without harming any landscaping/grass. Had requested a phone call before arriving and also to be delivered as early as possible in the day. Both requests were honored. Wood was nicely split, clean, and mostly not well-seasoned, but not freshly cut either. There was a mix of different kinds including some red oak. Some seasoned wood was mixed in. We did not care about the amount of seasoned wood as we have other wood to use first and this will be ready when we need it.

Contacted Bill by leaving a message on his answering machine. I was called back later that day. I arranged to have the firewood delivered the next Saturday. I was called back later in the day and asked if they could move the delivery up to Friday late afternoon/evening. I agreed. I was given a call from the delivery man when he was leaving his location to let me know he was on the way. He showed up shortly thereafter and dropped the wood (from a small dump truck) to the spot I asked on my driveway. I paid the driver with a check. The wood is well seasoned and terrific mix of sizes of the same length. I will continue to use Wallace Wood Works in the future.
