Natorps, Berns, and Bloomin Garden Center would all be superior landscape options. Today I visited to speak with the owner, Tony, about an $861.33 tree installation Sharon Nursery did for me on June 29, 2018. Following a June 13, 2019 visit during which I spoke to one of his staff because he was not present, I sent Tony a June 16, 2019 email (along with photos) at the suggestion Laura, one of the Nursery employees. Not receiving a reply, I sent a second email on June 22, 2019. The reason for my June 13 visit along with the subsequent emails was that the tree was planted directly on an irrigation line that was broken in the planting process. I would have expected the Sharon Nursery crew to inform me of this at the time; in addition perhaps an extended warranty on the tree might be in order. In fact, Laura suggested this would be the least they could do. After all, the cost to repair to the irrigation system was circa $200. Upon with speaking with Tony, following is what I heard: -He had read my email, but chosen not to acknowledge or reply -Sharon Nursery has many employees, he can't be responsible for them (if not the owner, then who?) -They couldn't have broken the pipe with a shovel (had he read my email and checked the order, he would have seen they used a bobcat) -My value as a customer is immaterial to Sharon Nursery -Too bad he is not as "perfect as me" My primary complaint was the owner would not take the time to reply to me. That sets the tone for the entire operation.

The quality of the work was really good, the patio is excellent, the fireplace is excellent. The worst part was just communication, not knowing when they would come and show up and finish, doing the work.

They delivered on-time as requested. We weren't completely ready for them but they helped us move a few things in our driveway and lay out the tarp to dump the mulch on. The delivery driver was super friendly and nice. We also had a great experience dealing with the folks at the store. We participate in a local gift card program and had to order the gift cards separately, but they were great about working with us on that. I think if it were one of the larger retailers, it wouldn't have gone nearly as smoothly. The families that run the nursery are great people.

We were extremely happy with Sharon Nursery's work. The plan they put together matched my wife's request. Their price was lower then many other bids, but the quality of the plants was much higher. Their staff was professional and were easy to work with. We love Sharon Nursery!

Excellent quality trees; left some of root ball above ground on one tree but otherwise planting looks very good. Staff at store was very knowledgeable and helpful. Purchased 6 trees which were delivered and planted in a few days. Went back and purchased two more and they did not call or show up to plant them for a little more than two weeks. We called to inquire about delivery and they indicated it would be another 7-10 days. Then, without notice, we came home two days later and they were planted. I suspect they overlooked scheduling the latter two trees and then reacted tothe phone call. Anyway, good trees, nice folks, quality job overall.

I liked the design they came up with. They are very flexible, no one is married to their recommendations. They were very prompt and did a very good job. It looks good. They will stand behind what they sell, no arguments with them.

It went great. Two guys showed up and planted the trees where I wanted them, mulched around the trees and watered them. They look great and are very healthy.

In November 2006, we had a new concrete driveway, walkway and front porch poured by a subcontractor managed by Sharon Nursery. Unfortunately, the concrete has rapidly deteriorated over the past three (3) years. We noticed the concrete was chipping, pitting, cracking and discolored in the Spring of 2007 (~6 months after pouring). We contacted Sharon Nursery and were told to seal the concrete. We then contacted Sharon Nursery again in the Spring of 2008 and informed them of additional chipping, pitting, cracking and discoloration of the concrete. We were told that someone from the company, and the contractor from the company who poured the concrete, would look at our driveway, walkway and front porch and assess the damage. There was no visit and never a return phone call. We elected to wait and see if the deterioration would simply stop progressing, but it has not. We had a professional structural engineering company inspect the concrete. The summary response from the structural engineering firm is that the concrete was mixed improperly before being poured and the issues related to the structural integrity are not related to normal wear and tear, or to the original suggestion to seal the driveway. We mailed Sharon Nursery a certified letter on July 23, 2009 voicing are concerns again and never received a response. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Buerau on 10/28/2009 and the BBB is still reviewing.

They are just extremely helpful and are very good. If you have a question, you can just go to their nursery and there is always somebody there that has an answer for you or will find out an answer for you. Everything that we have bought there has always been healthy. It’s just a good nursery.

Even though we could have purchased for less elsewhere, we used Sharon Nursery because of the quality of their plants and trees and because the people were so helpful. They give you detailed instructions on how to care for your investment. And the people are very friendly!

Contract signed 10/2007, work done in May, 2008, after repeated calls from me to schedule. As work progressed on larger wall, I was informed that they would need more blocks to complete (est. $900-$1000 more). When I received the bill, I paid it. A few weeks later, I received another bill. When I questioned it, I was told it was for the additional work done of the second wall. I did a spread sheet comparing the estimates, bills and amounts paid & could not reconcile them. I stopped down to discuss this with Rob and was told he was not there. I left the information for him to review & call me. He finally did & said the bills were correct & he had discussed the additional work. I told him he had only discussed the large wall & that estimate was included on my spreadsheet. He told me I needed to discuss this with Mary (she had ignored me the first time I was there so she was aware of the problem). As this was at an impasse and I did not want my credit damaged by them, I paid the 2nd bill & told them they would not be doing any further work for me. I did ask them repeatedly, how I go about making a claim for shrubs they had installed that were not doing well & were covered by a one year warranty. I still have not heard on that. My estimates totaled $$11,354.47 plus the additional $1000, I approved during construction for a total of $12,354.47 that I was expecting.

They were very eager for our business (and money). In the beginning they were very professional and prompt. Once they received our payment, their service and responsiveness was unprofessional and disrespectful. Mike Handorf was hard to get in touch with and when he said someone would be out to follow-up it took weeks. We also had asked for an estimate (in the beginning) for a water problem on our side yard, and we never received one, although they came out and surveyed the yard. We dealt with the company on and off for a whole year. I would not recommend Sharon Nursery.

We have had Sharon Nursery come back each Spring and Fall to do a bit more work and each time we are extremely pleased with the great design work, the quality of the plants, and professionalism the people installing them.
