"This job was completed prior to this review being posted. The customer had their home built and then contracted Platinum Exteriors to do the siding install. During the install our installers found a number of issues that are attributed to the home builder. The main issue was the home being out of square. Adjustments had to be made during the siding install to accommodate this issue. The rear left side of the home was shorter than the rear right home. So the siding installers sided the home to minimize the visual impact of the home being out of square. The owner and the install crew made several visits to the job site to make a good faith effort to try and resolve any issues the home owner was unhappy with. On December 23rd of 2017 we scheduled a site visit with the home owner who was going to have the builder present. The Home Owner nor the builder were present and after waiting a significant length of time approximately 3 hours the owner received a text message that the home owners wouldn't be able to make it. At this point the owner and crew wrapped up and left considering the job completed. To this date Platinum Exteriors still has not been paid in full for the completed project. If the home owner would like to satisfy their outstanding balance the owner would at that point be interested in going to their property and addressing any concerns they might have."
"The finished product looks amazing and we are honored you gave us the opportunity."
"The work was completed as contracted. The issue that took place with Craft Construction was a deliberate attempt to sabotage the Platinum Exterior reputation. Johnathon Rice is the owner of Craft Constructions and his father owns Universal Insulation a competing business and wanted to ruin Platinum Exteriors name. Payments were offered to Craft Construction to pay off the balance on the gutter work that was done and those payments were refused and Mr. [Member Name Removed] was present when the attempt was made as he stood next to Mr. Brooks and listened while the call was on speaker phone. Craft Construction did falsify documents to place a lien on Mr [Member Name Removed]s home. This was an unfortunate series of events that was out of our control. Craft Construction has never stepped foot on a job site after this series of events took place. Craft Construction has been paid and all of this was communicated to Mr. [Member Name Removed]. The level of communication that Mr. Brooks had with Mr. [Member Name Removed] was ongoing because of the situation with Craft Construction. Mr. Brooks is very responsive to all Platinum Exterior customers and takes great pride in the work that is done. Mr. [Member Name Removed] did ask if we would leave an extra bundle of shingles behind. That request was fulfilled and the shingles were used to replace a small section that the home owner didn't like the look of. Timeline 3/1/17 signed contract the homeowner was given a 3-6 weeks estimated date of install (weather permitting). Date of install was 5/3/17 so the timeline did run over a few weeks due to weather. Mr. [Member Name Removed] has since went out of his way to make sure he can ruin the Platinum Exterior name via online reviews. He has even went to the trouble of stopping at an active job site in order to try and smear the companies reputation with a home owner who was completely satisfied. Mr. [Member Name Removed] will always be treated with respect and his warranty will be honored. If Mr. [Member Name Removed] has any further issues we would like the opportunity to resolve them."
