Used them 2x. Once for interior in winter 2014 and exterior in June 2014. Painters were very polite and did very well on both interior and exterior. They even helped me with a minor issue on 2nd story exterior window and dusted off (they offered) the 2nd story foyer light fixture during interior painting. They did a good job on cleanliness but I'm picky. Owner, Rick, comes out to provide estimate as well as visits job site during and upon completion. You and he walk the job upon completion. Employees stick around until he gives them the okay to pack up. This is very good thing. No deposits and you pay only upon satisfactory completion. Pricing was very good as well as the quality of paints and sealers. The only trouble with this operation is that Rick does a poor job of communicating and scheduling work; his overall planning and responsiveness is weak from customer perspective. So if you're able to tolerate the chasing of Rick and able to have the work done next week or up to 3 months from now, then they're a very good operation with quality work. You will likely get frustrated and timing is everything. I stated I would use this provider in future because of their workmanship and pricing but I know 'chasing' Rick is a chore.

Did not get the job done as early as hoped due to lots of rain and adverse weather conditions.
Arrived on the agreed upon day (after weather delays) and worked efficiently.
All workers wore identifying uniforms.
Cleaned up work area every night.
Very professional work crew.
I believe they did superior work for the agreed upon cost.

Rick and his crew caulked, sanded and stained (2 coats) the soffit of my three story house. They also touched up with paint where needed. His bid was less than half of two other bids I had received and the scope of the work he performed was a little more than the other bids. In the end, his actual bill was $20 less than the bid! That doesn't happen very often! They were punctual, polite, clean, and did an over all excellent job. About a week after completing the job, Rick called to make sure everything was OK. I said it was great we were very satisfied. I mentioned I wished I had had him do one other small thing for me. He responded, "I'll be working in your area next week, I'll come by and take care of it." No charge, no problem. I will recommend and use them again.

Brush and Ladder did an absolutely fantastic job! We were extremely satisfied with the result and with the cost. Rick is an excellent communicator who stayed in close touch with us in-person, as well as via cell phone, email, and text messages. A lot of the work had to be done around the Christmas holidays, which made scheduling a challenge. Nonetheless, working through any scheduling conflicts with Rick was easy. Rick and his team has continued to stay in touch with us as we listed and sold the home. He came back to do final touch-up work and to fix minor paint flaws and other miscellaneous items, even when he was under no obligation to do so because the damage was done by other contractors working after painting was complete. Brush and Ladder is a first class operation run by a first class guy. I would recommend Brush and Ladder to anyone with a painting project.
