INNOVATIVE CONTRACTING

I am hesitant to leave a review, as Doug never actually did any work for us, but I do want to communicate our “experience” or lack thereof with getting a quote. Doug was kind enough to meet us on a Saturday at our house and review a basement finishing project. He reviewed everything and said he would get back to us within a week. Two weeks later we sent an email. A week after that we sent another email and left a voicemail. Knowing how contractors can be very busy we figured he would get back to us. In the end we ended up texting, leaving voicemails and emails several more times with not a single return. We are curious as to what happened and why we were seemingly ghosted by Doug… we hope he’s okay? Assuming he hasn’t had a life crisis, we hoped at the very least he would get back to us to say he couldn’t do the job. Very disappointed.

WE COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED WITH DOUG AND JIM AND THEIR CREW OF WORKERS. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME EVERY DAY, WORKED DILIGENTLY IN THE SUMMER HEAT, WERE RESPECTFUL AND POLITE, PROTECTED THE ENVIRONMENT AND CLEANED UP WELL EVERY NIGHT. THEY ARE VERY WELL ORGANIZED AND KEEP THE PROJECT RUNNING SMOOTHLY WITHOUT WASTING TIME AND MATERIALS. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH INNOVATIVE CONTRACTING AND JILEK ROOFING. I AM PLANNING ANOTHER INTERIOR PROJECT WITH DOUG SCHERMA - REPLACING OUTDATED BATHROOM COUNTERS.

DOUG RESPONDED TO MY INITIAL CALL PROMPTLY AND CAME TO DISCUSS THE JOB QUICKLY. HE GAVE US A WRITTEN ESTIMATE AND ARRIVED ONE DAY LATER TO DO THE JOB SUCCESSFULLY. HE IS VERY POLITE AND WORKS IN AN ORDERLY MANNER. IT WAS A ''SMALL'' JOB COMPARED TO THE ALTERNATIVE OF REPLACING THE WINDOWS AT GREAT EXPENSE WHICH HE COULD ALSO, HAVE DONE. HIS BACKGROUND IS WITH PELLA WINDOWS. DOUG WAS REFERRED TO ME BY A WOMAN FOR WHOM HE HAS DONE SEVERAL PROJECTS ON A VERY OLD HOME. SHE TOLD ME HE WAS A ''GEM'' AND I AGREE. I HAVE REQUESTED AN ESTIMATE TO REPLACE THE ROOF AND HE HAD HIS CONTRACTOR OUT IMMEDIATELY TO DO THE ESTIMATE. HE WILL BE MY FIRST STOP IN LOOKING FOR SERVICES IN THE FUTURE.
