Window Accents

It was wonderful. We could never have shopped and picked out those window treatments as we did with Kimberly. She had great ideas and was super helpful. We got everything picked out and ordered within an hour and a half. The installers came the day before we went on lock-down and we are so happy with the work!

This was a most pleasant relationship. Kim, the owner, was very professionally helpful to me in my choices. She did all the measuring. The drapes and blinds arrived in 3 to 4 weeks. Kim and her husband (they are the owners) arrived right on time and removed all the old treatments and hardware. Then Kim and her installer went right to work putting up my new window coverings. I can't think of anything that I was disappointed in. I will strongly recommend Window Accents to anyone needing these services. I also want to point out that all personnel were very respectful and friendly.

It went great! Kim was a pleasure to work with. She was able to answer all our questions and make some good recommendations for us. She came to the home to do measurements and see where the blinds were to go. It took about 3 weeks for the blinds to come in. She always called before she came and was always punctual with her appointments. We particularly loved her easy going manner and her sense of humor. The new window looks beautiful enhanced by the new blinds! It was an excellent experience!

Kim was such a pleasure to work with. Her professionalism and personality made it a fun and positive experience. She was very very patient with my wavering decisions and went above and beyond in her service. She wanted to make sure I was 100% happy in the end product. As you can see by the pictures, she does beautiful work. I couldn't be happier and would certainly return to Kim for any future projects. She is very knowledgeable and just a delight in every possible way. Her new showroom is gorgeous!!!!! You have to stop by and see it. There are many beautiful samples of her work making it easier to visualize for your needs. Her prices were competitive and there was no additional fee for her visits to our house. She seems to place precedence on making her customers happy.

Kim was fantastic! She made a few different trips to our home. First, to give me ideas for window treatments; different styles to go in different rooms. She asked many questions to determine purpose for the window treatments; aesthetics and/or function.
She returned to obtain window measurements and to show us numerous styles and fabric designs. The cost was a bit pricey, so we opted to go with 2 instead of 3 rooms. Our living room felt cavernous and cold, so we choose drapes for their aesthetic improvement, to soften and frame the huge wall of windows. In the kitchen, we choose a valence to block the evening sun which blinded us when we sat at the kitchen table for dinner. She helped us find a fabric that matched the oriental carpets in both rooms.
It took a couple of months before they were ready for installation. but I understood because they were a custom design. When she returned for the installation, she was accompanied by a professional hanger who put them up in a jiffy. They look amazing and change the whole look of the rooms. I couldn't be happier with the finished product.

This is a follow up to my review of 4/24/2014. I noticed some aspects of the workmanship that did not seem quite right. I called Kim and expressed my concern. She came out immediately, discussed my concerns and took the draperies with her. They came back perfect!! It is somewhat easy to find suppliers who do good work (thank you Angie's List). It is very difficult to find someone whose after sale service is as stellar as the pre-sale process. Kim's attention to my post sale questions was superb. I highly recommend her.

Kim was very helpful, and when he did the work, he was careful and clean. He was also on time and easy to schedule with.

The entire process took about a month, which seems fairly standard for custom work of this type.  Once the draperies were ready, she came and installed the hardware (yea!!) and hung the draperies. She also gave me suggestions for improving the look of "ready made" draperies I purchased.  Overall, a positive experience.

Called Kim in the afternoon and she called me right away.  Set up a time the next week.  She was right on time.  She went out of her way to help me find fabric.  Everything was completed in a very timely manner.  Had a large cornice and draperies in the family room, kitchen bay window with 3 windows and the window above the sink made.

The quality of her craftsmanship for the nursery window treatment was top notch. 
Overall, she was both punctual and thorough during our time with her, from initial meeting through installation.

I received an advertisement for Exciting Windows in the mail. Checked it out on Angie's List and saw that others had used Exciting Windows and were pleased with the service. I called Kim. She came to the house several days later. We talked budget - the first question she asked and very important. Kim measured the windows and brought in samples from her van of the products that would keep me in budget. I was able to feel the materials and choose the right shade of "white" to match my trim. Within 2 weeks, the new blinds were installed. Kim was very easy to do business with.

She did a wonderful job.  I feel she exceed me expectations.  I liked that she is very creative, level headed, and responsive.  She was able to create what I was looking for.  My husband is hard to please, and he was thrilled with how everything turned out.

Everything was excellent. We were very pleased with her work, and she was very responsive. She was meticulous about making sure everything was right, and she was a very good consultant and listened to what we wanted. She had a subcontractor install the blinds but she was present the entire time, which we appreciated. The price seemed high but we were very happy with the work she did.

Kim immediately had ideas about window treatments that would work best in my home, she is clearly experienced. This was my first time with custom window treatments and she walked me through every step. She is experienced enough to give feedback on your ideas and will introduce new possibilities along the way. The finished product is outstanding and has really enhanced my home's overall appearance, making a good room look fantastic.

Kim came out at the time we had arranged. She brought everything to my house so that I could pick out window treatments to fit the style and colors of my room. There was no charge for the consultation. The valances were made and installed within 2 weeks. Kim is very helpful with suggestions in how to maximize the size and view through my windows.
