The installer recommended I go to Marsh Building Products to order my door. The door was special order measuring 27 1/4 x 78 7/3. I have never been to Marsh Building Products but the staff was friendly and gave me several styles and colors to choose from. I believe they said the door would be in 3-4 weeks and it arrived and was ready for pickup as promised. I love the quality of the door. It fit exactly as measured and is a heavy insulated door with a superior latch and locking mechanism. Special order doors are more expensive and their pricing was no higher then other competitors who offered a cheaply made version at a similar price.

We had issues with the door with ThermaTru where it was scratched and didn't fit properly. Marsh delivered the door and assured that it would be taken care of. They drug their feet going back and forth with the manufacturer, ThermaTru. The last straw, was when a guy from Marsh came out and verified that the door was not correct. He said he would give me $800 for the additional problems but that I needed to sign something with him. I said my lawyer told me not to sign the papers. He left and canceled the installers that were supposed to come finish the job. He hired someone else from his company, who showed up three weeks later. He found nothing wrong with the installation of the door and agreed the problems that I knew that were there. He verified there was nothing else that could be done. I called the guy from Marsh to sign the papers and he said there were no papers anymore. They would not give us anything.

I was looking for a quality, least expensive option for 4 attic window replacements. Because of other windows on the house, had to have wood interior window. Due to unique size, Marvin at the time offered the widest single casement option that would fit the opening. Marsh installer was great, on time courteous, professional.

The project went very smoothly once I found Marsh. Other window companies just didn't compare in terms of their product quality, estimation process or customer service/communications. I hired Marsh and used their recommended installer and was very pleased overall with the outcome. The job was completed in a timely and professional manner and the quality of the work seems excellent.
