My problem comes with the cost of repairs they recommended. One item was a new cabin air filter. Their cost to replace it was $73.71 , (part $43.71, labor $30.00) Coincidentally, I had purchased a Wix cabin filter from Amazon recently. The cost was approx. $15.00. It took 10 minutes to install it. This included looking it up on the internet to make sure I had the up-down arrow going in right direction. Allowing that the mechanic took the same 10 min to do the job that comes out to $180 an hour for the labor. The other repairs they recommended seemed to be over priced as well, but not to that extent.
