Fabrex gave me an estimate and timeline and followed through without any issue or complication. Initially, over the phone, they seemed to recognize the situation that we were in, which gave me confidence that they would be able to do something about our rug. (We thought it might be a lost cause). I delivered the rug and picked it up after 2 weeks (they were taking a week long summer holiday), and the rug turned out pristine, spotless, and clean smelling. The (co)owner was professional, enthusiastic, and supportive. I will keep this company in mind for any and all future cleaning jobs of this kind. The entire experience renews my faith in the professionalism of small businesses like this one.

I took the carpet to Fabrex myself to save the $50 service charge for picking up a carpet.  A pet had urinated on one corner of the rug so we asked for it to be deodorized.  The carpet was ready in a reasonably short time period but we were having a large dinner party so we asked if we could pick up the carpet the following week.  The day before we were to pick up they called to inform us that the carpet had an odor and did we want to deodorize it.  My husband was supposed to have asked for that service so I don't know if he forgot or it got lost in the communication.    Luckily we were not in a super hurry to pick up the carpet so the deodorization was done.  When I picked up the carpet to bring it home it still smelled like urine in one corner a little bit.  The rest of the carpet was fine.  I gave this company an A because they do a great job cleaning for a great price.  I wish their offices did not smell like cigarette smoke but they do clean carpets well.  I would not pay for them to deodorize in the future as I do not think they did the best job on this.  This is the only reason I gave them a B on price because I paid for a service that didn't work that well for pet urine.  Best to go to petsmart and just get their urine destroyer.
I have used Fabrex for two other carpets and will continue to use them for cleaning.

I have used Fabrex many times and keep going back.  Although prices are a little higher, they have a 2 year guarantee if you have the carpet sealed for stains.  They'll come back any time and clean up stains.  They'll also leave stain-cleaner with you to self-treat.
They are polite and efficient, move things out of the way themselves, and put protectors under furniture legs.

I had called Fabrex to ask them about prices and was given rug cleaning 101 lesson on the phone.  I was impressed with their knowledge and their prices were comparable to other rug cleaners.  I saved a $50 pick up fee and dropped my smaller 6'x4' rug off for cleaning.  I was disappointed that the offices smelled heavily of cigarette smoke but my rug contained not a trace of odor when I picked it up.  I brought my larger rug to be cleaned as well.  I was a bit concerned that the fringe had not been combed out but I was assured it had.  Both rugs looked great and I got expert advice on whether I should deoderize or not.  The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.  I was very pleased with the service and the result.

They were excellent. They came out immediately the next day after I called them.
