PRO-GUARD

First, all seemed well. I found a coupon in the Gold Clipper, before we had come to the point of payment. He had ordered our shingles. I asked if he would honor the coupon, and he was like no. I said I did not think it was fair since it was before payment....and he still said no....well, I did give him a little attitude...which I felt really bad about....and profously apoligized to him. He had said he was not going to do our roof....and that he would take the money for the shingles....and drop them off....and I could get someone else. Well, not knowing much about what I could have done.... I called him back right away...after he hung up on me....and that is when I was really apoligizing to him.....well, he finally agreed to do the roof. Well, I should have let him drop off the shingles...and found someone else....but I went ahead with him. He did not do my roof right. I had a contractor come out today...after some pretty bad leaking this year....he said the roof was never put on correctly. There was no felt paper( no weather barrier), the ice shield was put on, but the backing had not been peeled off so it just fell down the roof, and the ridgevent was just nailed down on top...there was no venting done...anyway...I still owe 2600 on my last roof...and now I have to get a new roof....the contractor from Pro-guard was contacted....and he at first answered our calls...then he ignored us....I am sure he knows he did the roof wrong...if he was that mad at me....why did he not get someone else he knew to do the roof....or just not do it....I think that is very unethical of someone....and we do not have much money....heck, I am in Bankruptcy right now.....
