We returned three lights to Village Lighting & Supply in May 2025. Two were received by Village Lighting in Lorain, Ohio. The third was delivered to their supplier, Kichler, on May 27th—confirmed by USPS tracking. All were returned in original condition and packaging, and we used the return label Village Lighting provided. Now they’re refusing to refund us fully, claiming they “never received” the third light. But again—they created the return label, and USPS confirms delivery to Kichler. Instead of owning the issue, they’re trying to shift blame to us for where their own label sent the item. They’ve even gone so far as to deny having a return policy, claiming confusion with a different store in California. That’s not credible. Google’s AI Overview still displays the return policy for Village Lighting & Supply in Lorain, Ohio, stating clearly: “You can return your item(s) within 30 days for a full refund if returned in original condition and packaging.” We followed that policy to the letter. Yet Village Lighting is now withholding a refund for an item they instructed us to return—to a destination they selected. This is unacceptable and unethical. If the refund is not processed in full, we will file a dispute through our bank, report the transaction to USPS for fraudulent return handling, and pursue legal remedies. Wonderful! I found everything I needed at great prices. They had what I needed and even showed me what different light bulbs would look like in a light I was considering for my master bath! Great customer service and selection. Need two more log lights, headed back today!

Even he didn't respond right away, a few phone calls and effort to nail down a date for him to come, he did give us a very fair price and his work is very professional and yes, we would use his services again. All in all, very pleased.

Village Lighting & Supply was recommended by another contractor for electrical work. I wanted some additional outlets put into my home as well as adding a flood light and garage lights to my garage. I had the estimate performed the week of Thanksgiving and received the estimate a few days later. After playing phone tag to tell them I wanted the company to perform the week, I was told by their electrician Denny that the office would be in touch with me to schedule the job. Three weeks later, I still hadn't heard anything and called the electrician again to get the job scheduled. They had availability after Christmas. Denny was scheduled to come do the work and never called me with a start time, the day of I was contacted by Natalie at about 8:30 to inform me Denny was sick and would not be coming out. When I called to reschedule Natalie provided me with some dates, I choose one and left a voicemail, I heard nothing from Denny or Natalie, when I called a couple days before the day they were due to come out but they didn't schedule me.
FINALLY the came out and did the work. The job was done quickly and well; however, they did crack an existing outlet cover when they were putting in a new outlet they were connecting it to. They didn't replace it and just put the cracked outlet cover back when they were done.
If you are looking for an electrician to do the work for a reasonable price you can try them, but after all of the communication issues and waiting a month and half to get a job done I definitely will not be recommending them to anyone.

"The member wanted this work done at our absolute busiest time of the year.(Between Thankskgiving & Christmas) Denny did apologize for making her wait. He even did an extra job for the member that was not part of the original quote and DID NOT CHARGE her because of the (2) cancellations due to him getting sick. He had the flu and thought he would be well enough to do her job the following week but that was not the case. The outlet cover that was cracked was old and painted over. Denny was to drop off a replacement cover. We apologize for the aggrivation and inconvenience that we caused you."

She always gives me a very reasonable price. I’ve used her many times and she always has me covered. She even got me extra light fixture covers for a lamp in my bathroom in case one breaks.
