MICHAEL CLARK CONSTRUCTION & CABINET

I had requested that he keep the price around $20,000.00. He said he needed $10,000.00 to go out and buy appliances and materials. He went and cashed it. He did buy appliances, floor model scratch and dent. He delivered the appliances to my house. Then I heard form the friend that referred him to me that Michael was going to sell my old cabinets to make a profit off of them. When I asked him about selling my old cabinets, I told him I had plans for them. He thought that because he was taking them down they were his. I thought we had worked through that issue, but apparently we didn't because I never heard from him again to start on the kitchen. So I contacted my lawyer. We took him to court. He reimbursed me for $1500.00 up front and we reimbursed him for the appliances but he still owes me $8,000.00. This has been going on since 2005. I am still trying to get my money back from him. My lawyer continues to send out invoices to him, but he just ignores them.
