I took our Dog "Missy" in to have her nails done and Dr Hudson found A Lump that was Breast Cancer. Scheduled a surgery and Then kept her overnight at no extra charge. The whole Office staff were very helpful and kind. Also the Price was not excessive in any way.

I got Bubby when he was 5 weeks old that was 13
years ago... This was where I took him for care...for over 11
years..but at his weakest point this office of so called compassionate
employees and medical personal..failed him and myself. ...Bubby was an
Akita and 100 pounds. Monday he could not stand up..I knew it was his
time. I just wanted him to be comfortable. I called the Lorain animal
clinic to see if the vet could come to my home and see bubby..They said
they would call me back...I waited and waited...(Now mind you..I have
always paid my bill and brought my animals to this clinic..$ couple
thousand $ worth)..I finally called back ..well Dr woods is out of town
and Dr Hudson was too busy after hours.. so they would call me first
thing tues morning...well no call so I called and the girl who took my
info the day before called off sick and there was nothing documented
about Bubby..so went over the story again...they said they would call
back...they
never called and still haven't called. There was no compassion, no
professionalism .I contacted another local vet who had never seen my
pet...he cancelled appts just to provide for Bubby...

Do take your cat in a carrier or your dog on a leash.Be prepared to tell the receptionist what the problem is. She's the first line of contact. She'll escalate any emergency situation.Do feel free to call and ask questions before you go. It can help a lot.

You don't need an appointment. You go with your dog during their open hours. Monday through Friday they are open from 9-12 and 3-6. On Wednesdays they are only open from 9-12. They are pretty fast about getting you in and out. I like Dr. Wood because he is very nice and likes animals. They are in the paper a lot for helping stray animals. They are a little pricey, but are worth it.

ok. Not happy with visit. Can't make appointment. Need to wait it out. Don't know when they will get to you.

I would recommend them. The last time they didn't charge because it was just a checkup since our dog was having complications. We've been going there for a long time. They are really friendly and really take care of your pets and they are family owned. Their service is very quick and they are very organized and very affordable.
