My elderly mother had cracks appear in her basement. I called at 5:00 on a Friday and Daniel answered the phone! He came out the next day (a Saturday), quoted a price, told her when he would be able to schedule, actually came back when he said he would, and fixed the problem in the basement. He was professional and friendly, his crew was very nice, and they did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to call him for anything. If he can make my mom happy, you know he did good!

Very Happy with work performed and time frame job was completed. Professional crew came out excavated 2 exterior foundation walls and installed Delta MS for waterproofing. Also straightened cracked and bowing walls then installed steel I beams to support and strengthen wall. Still had small water issue in corner of basement and Danny sent his crew back out promptly to correct by doing additional 2 days of work and installing sump pump to correct. Very responsive and fair company to deal with. I would use Gonzalez basement waterproofing again if needed in the future.

Found water leaking in through wall and thought I would have a $4,00 to $5,000 repair. Daniel Gonzalez tracked the problem back to a sump pump which was periodically refusing to turn on. He replaced it shortly thereafter, total bill was $275. Expert, responsive, honest, professional.? I highly recommend the company.

Basement filled with water at the first rain after $6300 waterproofing!
Washer, dryer, and utility sink were disconnected and never reconnected although proprietor said he would as soon as the cement dried (that was 2 weeks ago). Large hole left in wall where dryer vent should have been re-attached.
Considerable debris left behind which I hauled out personally.
Large hole burned in back yard lawn by workers dumping some sort of caustic liquid. Two feet to the left there was dirt where they could have dumped the liquid and not killed any grass at all.
Proprietor said I'd get a copy of the city inspector's approval. Never got it. Proprietor said a new sump pump was installed but won't give me the owner's manual or show me a receipt.
Proprietor never checked for or asked about an existing sump pump. There was an exterior sump pump that had stopped working due to an electrical short. It's possible that water backed up into my basement solely because that pump was off and the whole $6300 job was necessary in the first place. I'll never know but always wonder....
Proprietor used long extension cord to connect interior sump pump to outlet on far wall of basement. Proprietor left the cord lying on the floor, across the width of the basement. I attached it myself to rafters via cup hooks. Trip and fall hazard! And the cord was lying on the wet (still wet) floor, possible in standing water in case of future flooding which indeed occurred at the next rain.

This guy and his workers did a excellant job and went above and beyond what I expected, they dug out around my house and laid new tile, put in stone and cleaned up the yard when done. They pushed back my walls and put in like 3 inch beams every 5-6 feet to brace the wall. They put in a sump pump and If Dan and his workers made a mess, it was cleaned up as they moved on. They were polilte and professional. I had a great experience with Gonzalez Basements and would highly recommend then. Danny knows his stuff and has 18 years experience, he is licensed, bonded and insured, he gives free inspections and a lifetime warranty with his work. Gonzalez also does Glass block windows, driveways, sump pumps, wall straightening, concrete work and siding and roofing.
