They were very professional. Scheduled service online and they sent email with date and details. It rained the day before and they called to let me know they would be out the next day. Core aeration was done perfectly.

Unbelievably good. They were scheduled to aerate my neighbor's yard the next day. He called and told them I was also interested. With one day notice they ageed to do my yard, which is approximately 8500 square feet. They showed up and did an excellent job, They covered the whole yard with no missed areas. It appears he overlaped passes on the yard resulting in a very large number of plugs. The price was less than half the cost of renting a walk behind aerator, which is a nasty and heavy machine to wrestle on my sloped lot). In addition he was very polite and friendly.

.Awesome job! I hate mulching but have always done it myself because I'm a perfectionist about it. These guys were great. They sent 5 workers and were done in 1 day. They even cleaned and weeded the window wells. The mulch was a black hardwood that was pretty fine in texture but has looked great and maintained it's color all summer. They also applied a weed preventer and I am totally amazed. Almost zero weeds the whole summer in the beds. I will never mulch again. The money was well spent and I will use them again next spring.

Gary and his crew of 3 were outstanding.  Very meticulous, high attention to detail, trustworthy, professional, courteous and performed the work within timelines agreed upon.  High quality of work  which is well beyond other companies that I have used in the past as Gary's team is there to do the job right and not speed through it just to get it done so they can move onto the next job.  While Gary was not onsite at all times - he sent a top notch crew to complete the projects and Gary was always very accessible and stopped by periodically to assist and meet with me to make sure my expectations were being met and to answer any questions.  I highly recommend his company!

Excellent
Response from Mulch Rite
"Thanks so much for taking the time to comment on the quality of our product! When you order a mulch delivery from various companies the quality of much is sometimes an unknown surprise. We strive to provide great quality products with excellent prices. Our drivers try hard to pay attention and follow your requests of the delivery location and details. It seems that dumping a load of mulch would be an easy task, but it does take a lot of experience to get it "just right.""

I submitted an online request for service on Friday, 9/3, and followed up with a phone call on Tuesday, 9/7. The office manager actually recognized my name from the online request, though I had not done business with them previously. We set the appointment for the 10th. They were prompt, professional, and completely the service. My lawn had a rough summer from the dry, hot weather, and just over a week later, it's coming back to life beautifully. I will definitely use them again and would recommend their service.

Mulch Rite has been doing our lawn aeration for several years and we have been happy with the work. We decided to use them for our new patio and got 3 quotes including theirs. Their quote was competitive (but not the lowest). Based upon our past experience, we decided to use them. We had Gary Teach meet us in early September 2007. We signed a contract and expected the patio to be done before the end of fall. Mulch Rite got busy with their lawn aerations and did not come back to start the work until November. They spent almost the entire month working on and off with 1 or 2 employees on the patio. We were not very happy the patio was not completed before the end of fall. The finished patio looks good. However the patio was built a few inches too high resulting in Mulch Rite having to put a dirt "ramp" to connect the path to the back yard. Gary was leaving on vacation the week of Thanksgiving. Despite the fact that it rained 2 inches the day before he left on vacation, he proceeded to run Bobcats through-out both sides of our front and side yards depositing the soil for the flower beds. He did this so he could get the project done and get paid. This was very irresponsible to use the Bobcats on both sides of our lawn. Our lawn was torn up and we were left with mud and ruts from the Bobcats all winter. This was a big problem because we used the yard to take our dog out and we had to step in mud throughout the fall, winter and spring. After expressing my dissatisfaction, Mulch Rite came back in the spring and slice-seeded the entire yard and with grass seed. Mulch Rite's soil for the flower beds is horrible. It is full of seedy weeds and crabgrass. Mulch Rite's mulch was not very good either We have spent the entire spring and summer pulling out weeds and crabgrass. I have used over 3+ gallons of Roundup and counting. Mulch Rite also did not bother to pull out the grass or kill the grass before putting the soil down for the flower beds. The grass has grown through the soil. Gary said this it is not standard practice to kill or pull out the grass. This does not sound right to me, put in a new flower bed and then have the grass under it grow through it?! I e-mailed Mulch Rite and expressed my displeasure with the cheap soil full of weeds. It has been over a month and they never responded. I would have thought Mulch Rite would have offered something to compensate us for the many long hours of pulling out weeds and crabgrass. We will be left dealing with years of weeds due to their selection of poor soil material. I would not recommend using them for any landscaping. The patio turned out fine albeit the finished elevation was too high. The landscaping was horrible.

They did a good job. It was very raining that week and they called to delay the work so that the quality would be as expected. We were very pleased with this consideration.
