Phone Service - Cellular
Bought this item from retail store on 4/16/2011. Returned in a couple of days when it didn't work.Told by owner that they had gotten some defective modums so to keep it for a replacement. On at least 4 different days was told that new ones would be available in the store. Finally just asked for refund on 5/7/2011. Was told check would be mailed to me.
At 6 weeks I stopped at store and said I hadn't received check and could the owner call me. No check or call.
At 8 weeks same thing. No check no call.
At 9 weeks I stopped and asked the sales assoc. to call the owner so I could talk with him. They texted back and forth and I was told he'd call me back. No call so I returned to the store that afternoon. In the mean time I spoke with Verizon who told me to get the name and # of the person he reports to to register a complaint. They told me the owner had to provide this. The sales person relayed that info to owner who gave him a number for me to call. I got his voicemail. While I was doing that a former employee came in asking for the owner because he owed him a month's salary and wouldn't return his calls.
The salesperson called him again and said I got voicemail so he said he would call me. In a few minutes he called and said he would send the check out the next Thurs. (This was Sat. ) and I should get it on Friday or Sat. He refused to give me the name and Phone # of who he reported to.
No check by Sat. and I called him. (7/16/2011) He said give it until Monday and if it didn't come he would meet me at store with a check. Today is Monday 7/18 and still no check. I called him and said I was on the way to the store. He said he had left for the day and was not coming back.
