Chuck, the owner of Country Classic, is professional and dedicated to quality to ensure that his customers are extremely satisfied with the process and the quality of the end product.  Chuck went to great effort to make sure that we were totally satisfied with the new Hardwood floors that they installed.  The company is a true advocate for the homeowner and will make sure that the product that they install meets their high standards.  Without hesitation I would recommend Country Classic for any flooring projects you have.

I would not recommend this company. The owner Chuck would agree to a schedule to perform the service and then either not show or his crew would re-schedule the day of once I called to see why they were late for an appt. The time frame quoted on the project was off and it required additional days.
The new wood that was put down in some areas was suspect and below acceptable quality standards. The finished product looked over-buffed in several areas and lacking shine in other areas. When I called to ask for someone to come out and look at the finished product Chuck was very short and confrontational.

Chuck and his crew did my floors years ago, but maybe that makes this an even better review because I can speak to how well his refinishing job has lasted. It's been 4 years now, and our floors still look fantastic. We had purchased a 1959 split level home that was mostly carpeted, but we pulled up the carpet and found original oak floors covered in a very thick, waxy varnish. There was also a huge pet urine stain in the living room.
I called several contractors to do estimates, and the few who managed to show up as promised seemed uninterested in doing such a "small job." Most quoted me over $2000. Chuck, however, came to do the estimate personally and explained that he could do my house cheaply precisely BECAUSE it was a small job: his crew had other huge, lucrative jobs nearby and my house would fill the 2-3 empty days between those jobs. Chuck clearly knew this neighborhood and this variety of oak floors well. He admitted that he'd worked for one of the big hardwood floor contractors in town before cutting out on his own.
Chuck encouraged me to choose an oil-based polyurethane instead of a water-based polyurethane. This surprised me since oil-based poly was the cheaper choice anyway, but 4 years later, I can say that Chuck was right. Because my floors are oak, not maple, they look good with the rich, deep finish that oil imparts. And while water-based polyurethane needs to be reapplied every few years, the oil-based polyurethane is still going strong 4 years later. The only downside is that it oil-based poly takes much longer to dry than wood-based poly, so Chuck's crew put on the first coat of poly at about 5 pm one day, then returned the next morning to put on the second coat. I have a finished basement with tile flooring so I just camped in the basement until the rest of the house was done. It smelled awful, but with my permission, the crew had opened windows throughout my house and the smell "rose" rather than sank, so the odor was tolerable in the basement.
In terms of the job, Chuck's crew arrived 30 minutes early (with my permission--they called ahead) and were sanding in multiple rooms within 10 minutes of arrival. The crew manager consulted me about the big pet urine stain in the living room and admitted that he didn't know if they could get it out (they did) and estimated how much of the house they expected to finish on Day One and Day Two. Chuck showed up a few hours later and checked on his crew, then checked in with me. All in all, the job was done across the course of 3 days, exactly as promised.
The floors look great. Because the house was empty, I was able to walk around and really examine the work. Everything looked meticulous and great, even in the closets and other out-of-the-way spaces. Four years later, the floors still look great. As a minor issue, the running boards on the sides of my stairs have uniform gouges on each stair from the sanding machines, but that's arguably my fault because I told Chuck not to take off any running boards (which would have been much expensive than just replacing those running boards along the stairs). All the other running boards in my house look fine and sustained no damage.
I've been pleased to see the Country Classic Hardwood Floors van in a bunch of my neighbors' driveways over the years. Chuck is a down-to-earth class act and his crew did a great job.

They did a great job.  Chuck (the owner) came out on time and gave me a good understanding of what he would recommend and what they could do.
The guys who came out to do the job were very friendly and worked hard.  They put up plastic barriers to section off the area being refinished from the rest of the house and then used some pretty fancy vacuums to keep the dust from getting all over the place.  (After they were done, you could see a little dust here and there but I was very pleased that the mess wasn't bigger.)
The repairs they made are probably the best that I could have hoped for.  I didn't have any left over wood from the original installation and the grain of the wood they used for the repair is different enough that if you look, you can tell that it doesn't match.  Not their fault.
After doing the sanding, they put samples on the floor for me to choose from.  This was more difficult than I had imagined.  In the end I think I picked something lighter than was here originally but the new floors look so great, it doesn't matter.
The damaged wood by the front door wasn't discovered until after they had originally finished the job.  I called Chuck and he came back out to look at it and seemed disappointed that his guys didn't catch it.  (I'm guessing he made sure they knew of their mistake.)  The crew came back out, made the repair, and cleaned up again.  Except for the fact that the wood grain doesn't quite match the original (again, nothing they could do about that), it looks great.
The crew even showed me how I could touch up the nicks and dings on my wood trim.  Bonus!

I was a little disappointed in the beginning as we had planned for them to start on a certain day for over a month and found out a few days before that they had to push it back a couple days due to illness. I understand that stuff happens so I took that into consideration. On the day work began they were prompt and sanded an area down and put different stain samples on the floor so I could choose the color. They sanded and stained on Thursday and did polyurethane the next. When I got the quote, they said it was for two coats of poly so I'm guessing they used a stain and poly in one and then did another coat of just poly. Otherwise, it would appear they just did one coat of poly. I asked the worker for clarification and he said there was two but his explanation was unclear. All in all the floors look gorgeous and I'm happy with the result. All of the employees i dealt with were very pleasant. I would use them again.

After they cleaned my floor they used a sander which I can still see the marks from. Then they were suppose to vacuum the sanding. I can still see the sanding left behind only now it is coated. On the first visit the poly had no sheen. So I asked the owner to look at the job they did I told him I wanted a sheen on the floor and I pointed out areas on the floor I was not happy about including showing him the sander marks left behind, he assured me that the second coat would eliminate that. His guys came back to my house again and put a second coat on using semi gloss. Very disappointed in the quality of the job. The only way to correct this is to find another company and have them refinish my floor.

The most recent project was to replace our current kitchen flooring with new solid Tigerwood 5" planks.  Chuck met with my wife to discuss the project, made some recommendation, followed up the next day with a quote.  The new wood was delivered on time and the crew started by sealing off all of the adjacent rooms with plastic to keep the dust out.  Removed the old flooring and installed the new 3/4" 5" Tigerwood.  We even added a small bathroom installation.  The crew took a couple days and always cleaned up and let the The result was a fantastic professional installation.

They took a very difficult situation here with water damage from a leak upstairs that came down and they were never really finished. It had stained and they worked with it till the stain was perfect. The color was perfect. They turned out absolutely gorgeous. We are in love with our floors. It was difficult moving the furniture, but they helped with that too. They came back over and over again and did about a half a room at a time. Everything had to be coated 2 to 3 times. They went above and beyond. Chuck is a very relaxed and calm man. He works with his sons, and also hired 3 other guys. Everyone was courteous, funny and polite. There was some humor in it. That was a really good combination and we were very lucky to come across it. They did a lot of work. Their price is extremely reasonable.

Chuck was awesome!  I had three companies come out for quotes, and Chuck was not only the cheapest, he was the most informative about my various options for refinishing.  I asked him why his quote was so much more reasonable than the other companies, and he had a very reasonable explanation: he pays his guys by the job, not by the hour, and he inspects their work before they are "released" so they have incentive to get the job done effectively, quickly, and well.  He also did not balk at the size of this job, which I had been told by other contractors was "unattractive" because it "wasn't much work."  Chuck's feeling was "Hey if my crew is between two big jobs and I can accommodate your job, that's money that we wouldn't have otherwise made."  Our floors still look fantastic 2+ years later, and the oil-based finish his crew used was definitely the right choice for our house.  It took about 2 days to do everything--they started sanding one afternoon, finished sanding the next day, put down a first coat of polish, then returned the second day to put the second coat of polish down.  Chuck checked in several times to ensure that all was going well, and on the second day he even stayed for an hour or so to chat with me about the floors, my new neighborhood (which he knows well since many of the homes here have the same 1950s hardwood floors), etc.  He also underpromised and overdelivered: he had shown me several stains on the floor from the previous owners, and he said he was not convinced that his team could remove the stains.  But they did, including a huge stain that was probably from pet urine in my living room.  I would definitely use his company again.

Chuck and his crew did an excellent job refinishing 3 bedrooms and a hallway that had adhesive from what appeared to be from some old vinyl that was layed over it.  They removed the carpet and hauled it away.  Installed new Bruce solid Hardwood floors throughout the rest of the home where only carpet existed before.  Never thought it could look that good.  Very professional.  Would hire again.

Very pleased with this company's service and would recommend them to anyone. I called six contractors and Chuck (the owner of Country Classic Hardwood Floors) was one of the only owners to come out personally and was willing to take on my job on very short notice. Chuck gave the most favorable price estimate and willingly explained why it was so low, which was because my house was an extremely straightforward job and with his crew, he was confident that he could complete it very quickly. Sure enough, Chuck's team showed up with five guys who got right down to work and had the job done in three days. All of his workers were efficient, cheerful, and didn't try to upsell me. They were very meticulous--it's been two years since I got the floors done so if they had cut corners, I should have found it by now. Chuck came by personally on all three days that his crew was here and stayed for awhile, but honestly he didn't need to--I was in the back yard during most of the job and would walk around the house periodically, and his crew was consistently working hard and doing a good job. The floors look amazing and the oil polyurethane has held up beautifully. I would definitely use them again but I don't expect that I'll need to because they did such a lovely job--this finish should last ten years or more.

There was an area an unlevel area on the the floors which I pointed out while getting the estimate. They said they would take care of it. When the guys came to start the installation, the installers weren?t aware that part of the floor needed to be leveled. So, they didn?t bring the right materials to level the floor. When they looked at the floor, they determined a lot more work needed to be done that was not estimated. So he ended up increasing his estimate. I was disappointed that was included given that I had specifically pointed that out. There were a couple mistakes that they made that I had them come back and fix, and of course any time something is fixed, it won't be as good as if they had done it right the first time. A couple places were fixed to my satisfaction but another place wasn't, but they said that was the best that they would get it. The price includes
