Description of Work: I asked Spieles to weed, prune,add topsoil and mulch an appox. 250 sq ft area. I bought the mulch seperately. I was told to get 20 - 25 bags. They pruned, which was nice, added soil and put down 15 bags of the 25 bags of mulch that I was told to get. It looked nice when they left. A couple days later I decided to plant 5 mums in that area. To my dismay, they didn't weed, just covered them with the dirt and mulch. The weeds were the main reason I had hired them.( I had foor surgery and wasn't able to do it at that time) I called and complained and the owner said the dirt was too dry to pull weeds, yet I was charged for that service. The owner, after 3 phone calls, came out and used roundup on the weeds that were showing.I thought in order to weed, one should use a shovel. $500 for pruning,5 or 6 bushes and putting down topsoil and mulch that I bought is way too expensive. I was going to hire them next spring for other work,but after the job they did, no way.
