I contacted Ray because of all the excellent reviews he received on Angie's list. He said he didn't generally do jobs in Northern Ky because of the distance but he would for us.
We're glad he did. Ray kept in contact with us during the whole process. Basically you have schedule early in order to get your liner installed once it gets warm enough to do it. I asked Ray so many questions and emailed him all the time. He never failed to respond one time.
Night before install he came and put a pump in to pump out the pool, we asked that he run the house to the road so we wouldn't flood our neighbors yard. He said no problem. It was drained by the time we got home from work.
Next morning his assistant showed up at 8am to remove the old liner. I forgot to ask his name but he was so polite and friendly. We had to leave to get a water meter and a fire hydrant hose, by the time we got back he had the liner out and neatly put in garbage bags.
By a little after 10am Ray was there and the liner install started. They had that done but I think noon or 1, not sure which. They went to lunch while the fire hydrant filled the pool. They came back by 2 or so, did all the faceplates, step cut in etc. Our pool was filled by 4pm and looks like a brand new pool. I can't stop looking at it.
I would recommend Ray to anyone that will listen to me. He doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need, He does great work and is the most polite person. Also he and his assistant put up with two old people basically watching them all day and talking to them because we had nothing better to do that day...lol

"It is difficult to take a bad review from when we did what was asked of us. When we scheduled the appointment for the pool opening it was during a time when the work loads were backing us up, like everyone else, right before the memorial day weekend. We did get the pool opened for a party that was for a few days later. We were able to point out the problems and offer options for fixing these problems. Although we carry a lot of parts on our service van we did not have the parts that they needed. We offered to come back if needed. It was clear to me that they were using another company before so I was with the understanding that if they wanted us to fix anything else they would have to call us and let us know. I did not hear any thing from them until this review. Please accept our apologies but we were expecting a call back if you wanted us to follow up with more service."

We do ask that customers request extra services at the time of scheduling so we can allow extra time for the task."
