Brad May Painting

If I had to describe Brad's work, it would be "OUTSTANDING"! I was put in contact with Brad May via our realtor. We purchased a home and wanted to repaint the interior. At this time, we only wanted to do the top floor, or about 1,800 square feet or so. The structure has vaulted ceilings with phenomenal finish work all around. I took bids from 4 painting companies. Some wanted us to buy the paint and others would supplies all material. When they came to walk through the property, they came in "all shapes and sizes"! When Brad arrived, he drove up in a clean truck and was dressed in a professional manner for the job. The part we initially liked about Brad was his demeanor and personality. Granted, we're hiring someone to do interior painting. He stated direct answers to questions and provided opinions when we asked. Brad's pricing came out in the middle of the pack. We selected Brad May Painting to do the job and explained we would not be at the location while he worked as we would be out of town. When asked, Brad provided updates and photos so we could keep up with the progress. And when he finished, everything was left as clean as we left it and any extra material was neatly compiled in one area. The best part was the appearance of the job. All cut lines were razor sharp and it looked perfect! That is what we had hoped for and is definitely what we received. There were no "splotches" that I could see on the floors or anywhere. Needless to say, we were pleased! Brad is a "one man band", but you would not know it by the speed he works at. Two of companies that bid on our job said it would take at least a couple of weeks to do the job. One I know used a crew of 2 and the other said he was a painting instructor "somewhere". Brad took about a week and a half or so to complete the job. I seriously thought he was pulling my leg when he said he works by himself. No matter what, "the proof is in the pudding" when it comes to quality and it is great! The big question is would I hire Brad to do work for us again? In a heartbeat! We'll have him come back for the lower half of the house, once we're ready to do it. More than likely, we'll have him do the exterior of an outbuilding in the next year or so. In fact, he'll be doing work for my Mom and possibly a sister in Columbus. Yeah, I guess you could say we are pleased with the results!
