I had been a regular customer for WeedPro for the last 5 years. I always had prepaid my service at the beginning of each season. WeedPro had always done an average job so this season I went with a different company and prepaid the upcoming year's services with them
WeedPro still came to my house to do the first application this season although I did NOT authorize it. They state that since I didn't tell them I wasn't using them, I owe them the first treatment services (per their contract) Their excuse was "our system doesn't know that you have prepaid in years' past" I don't know why that is my fault if their technology is faulty
Anways I have been sent to collections re: a $45 charge for the first application that I have paid someone else to do
Bottom line - Weed Pro had done an average job on the lawn, but the customer service is troubling and I would recommend AGAINST them since there are so many other choice for lawncare in Central Ohio.

"Thank you for the feedback regarding your lawn. It is true that weed control products take up to 10-14 days to work. Additionally, we spot spray on service calls sometimes due to the fact that we can only full-spray your lawn a certain number of times due to EPA regulations. When examining the account, it was noted that we had full-sprayed your lawn during a recent application; hence requiring the technician to spot spray areas. In regards to you receiving a quote for $8.00 less an application; the quality of fertilizer and other products we use carry a higher cost then the "national" guys who use generic materials. We are not the cheapest lawn care company, however we feel our services are priced correctly, considering the amount of fertilizer and product your lawn actually receives. Other companies offer a cheaper price; however reduce the application rate of their fertilizer Similar to other services, you can always find a cheaper option. We wish you the best with your other lawn care company and thank you for the opportunity to serve you in the past!"
