Based on the need for a solution to the problems of roof stains on the homes in Columbus, Ohio several years ago we created this service dedicated to the restoration and preservation of roofs. Sparkle Clean Roof is the first company in central Ohio to offer an alternative to replacement for roofs with unsightly and damaging black stains. We can truly say that we can approach these problems with more experience and success than any other service or roofing company in the state. It is our goal to inform you about the cause and effects of roof stains, how to eliminate the problem and prevent it from coming back. The roof looks wonderful! All of the stains are gone now. He ran about 15 minutes late, but he called me to tell me that he was running late - which was nice. He was very nice and professional. He covered up my azalias, which was nice. I have some white specks on my aluminum siding and some on my windows. He did tell me if I have any concerns to call him and he would come back.

They did roof cleaning for both my son and me. I had a lot of work done. They showed up on time. They cleaned up everything and were extremely careful about covering the landscape, bushes and so forth. They were reasonably priced and didn't overcharge me. I was very happy with them.

We got an Angie's List coupon which we used with Sparkle Clean Roof. I thought that they did a good job. They were prompt. They came in and were very informative and explained exactly what they were going to do before they started working. They showed up on time and did what they said they would do. They used a nasty cleaning solution, but they covered up all the bushes and trees. I have not gone out recently to double check and see what the roof looks like, but the roof was fine at the time when they did the work. I would recommend them to others. We did not do any kind of price comparison but we were expecting them to be competitive.

They did a nice job with the roof and did couple of little extra things, too. They also sprayed on the side walls. They were very friendly and helpful people. They gave a lot of valuable information. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

They cleaned the roof and did a beautiful job. The roof is still in good shape. They were very personal and very nice. It was a little expensive but there was a lot of equipment and they cleaned my gutters while they were at it. Also checked my roof for problems areas.

Very responsive on getting us a quote. Showed up when promised, worked quickly, clean-up was excellent. Made sure we were satisfied before we paid. It was a little pricey but I believe the cleaning increased my property value by $5,000 and the neighbors love it!

ERIC RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO A CALL FOR AN ESTIMATE. HE UNDERSTOOD THAT I WAS SELLING THE HOUSE AND NEEDED THE WORK DONE QUICKLY. HE WAS ABLE TO GET THE WORK DONE ON SHORT NOTICE (2-3 BUSINESS DAYS). HE MISSED THE FIRST APPOINTMENT, BUT WAS ABLE TO GIVE ME PLENTY OF NOTICE AND MET THE SECOND SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.

EVERYTHING TURNED OUT VERY GOOD. THE WORKERS WERE POLITE AND VERY EFFICIENT. I HAD ESTIMATES FROM ANOTHER ROOFER WHO WANTED TO REPLACE THE VALLEYS, AND IT WOULD HAVE COST US AT LEAST TWICE AS MUCH AS I PAID FOR THE WHOLE JOB.

AT THE END OF APRIL, AFTER SEVERAL REMINDER PHONE CALLS, THE ROOF WAS FINALLY WASHED AND LOOKED GOOD. IT IS NOW MID-JUNE AND WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR TREATMENT WITH PREVENTIVE. THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND TO CALL AND DO A FINE JOB OF CLEANING A ROOF, BUT VERY POOR IN MEETING PROJECTED TIME-FRAME FOR ACCOMPLISHING WORK. THE RAIN THIS SPRING CERTAINLY PRESENTED PROBLEMS FOR WORK OF THIS TYPE, BUT IT IS OUR IMPRESSION THAT UNREALISTIC SCHEDULING WAS ALSO A PROBLEM. IT WOULD BE PRUDENT TO INCLUDE IN A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY A FIRM DATE FOR COMPLETION AND A PENALTY CLAUSE FOR FAILING TO MEET THAT DATE.

"AS STATED IN THE COMMENT, RAIN WAS AN ISSUE IN SPRING 2004. I MAKE EVERY ATTEMPT TO DELIVER SERVICES AT PROMISED TIMES. HOWEVER, IF YOU HAVE 100 JOBS, THATS 100 PROMISES AND 45 DAYS OF RAIN MAKE A TRAIN WRECK OUT OF EXTERIOR WORK. SPARKLE CLEAN ROOF DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY MONEY AS A DEPOSIT EVER, SO WHEN SCHEDULE PROBLEMS COME UP CUSTOMERS MAY BE DOWN BUT THEY ARE NEVER OUT."

SCHEDULED AN ESTIMATE FOR A MONDAY AND HE DID NOT SHOW UP. RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DAY AND HE FAILED TO SHOW AGAIN. FINALLY, ON THE THIRD APPOINTMENT HE SHOWED AND CLEANED A SECTION OF MY ROOF. DOUBLED HIS PRICE AFTER HIS FIRST VISIT SO DID NOT HAVE HIM BACK TO CLEAN THE REST OF MY ROOF.

"THIS ISOLATED CASE OF PRICE CHANGE WAS DUE TO EXTREMELY DELICATE NATURE OF ROOFING MATERIAL. ROOF WOULD HAVE REQUIRED TOOLS THAT I DID NOT OWN TO COMPLETE THE JOB IN A SAFE MANOR FOR ME (THE WORKER) OR THE SHINGLE TYPE. I SPENT SEVERAL HOURS WORKING AND TOLD THE HOMEOWNER I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THIS JOB WITHOUT BUYING TELESCOPIC EQUIPMENT. I EXPLAINED THIS EQUIPMENT WOULD CHANGE THE PRICE FOR SURE AND EXPLAINED I DID NOT EXPECT THEY WOULD WANT TO GO FOREWARD WITH THE PROJECT. THIS ROOF IS EXTREMELY STEEP AND WHAT THE HOMEOWNER DOES NOT STATE IS THAT I RESTORED A LARGE SECTION OF THE ROOF THAT THEN MATCHED THE FAR SIDE THAT THEY HAD ATTEMPTED ON THEIR OWN. I RISKED MY LIFE FOR HOURS, MADE IT LOOK NEW, AND HAD SENSE ENOUGH TO STOP OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE INABILITY OF THE ROOFING MATERIALS TO CARRY MY WEIGHT. AND I DIDNT CHARGE THE MAN ANYTHING!"

OUR ROOF LOOKS LIKE NEW! ERIC IS GREAT. HE DOES THE WORK HIMSELF. TO OUR KNOWLEDGE, NO OTHER COMPANY IN TOWN PERFORMS THIS SERVICE. AN ADDED BENEFIT-- HE DOESN''T INSTALL ROOFS SO HE DOESN''T TRY TO SELL YOU A NEW ONE!
