SHEARER LANDSCAPING

We were very pleased with Shearer's work. They removed the concrete slab we had for a patio and replaced with pavers, and repaired our cement front porch and added tiles to improve the look. They accidentally cut an underground power line to our garage, but replaced it the next day without any fuss. Justin was very responsive, willing to work with our price range and ideas for a design, and had good ideas for saving money. Would recommend and would use again for our next project.

We had called to set up an appoint.  It took us calling 3 times to get someone to call us back.  We set an appoint which was completely missed.  They did not call to reschedule or apologize.  We decided to try again because I used them about 14 years ago at a previous house.  Again, had to call twice to get a return phone call.  When the owner came with one other person, they were late.  We actually had to call to see where they were.  We reviewed 5-6 things were were interested in having done and they committed to getting back to us.  6 weeks later we have heard NOTHING back.  We have since hired other companies and are doing about $20,000 of work.  If they are that busy and don't want business they should not even be listed for business.  Extremely disappointing, poor business practice and execution.  Do not use this contractor.

We've used Shearer Landscaping for 2 large projects over the past 3 years.  They are reasonably priced and do a great job.  Their workers are courteous and timely and are flexible to our schedules.  We've used them in the past on a large patio in our previous home and will likely use them again for our upcoming patio projects.

They take care to make sure our lawn is completely fertilized and weed free. I have had issues with other companies fertilizing our yard and even after complaints nothing was done. Shearer has been most responsive to our needs and concerns. We recently used them to mow our lawn while on vacation and the price for mowing and trimming was reasonable and the work was EXCELLENT. I highly recommend Shearer Landscaping.

Monthly they do residential mowing and trimming.  Their employees are solicitous of the homeowners desires to ensure complete satisfaction.  We are very impressed with the care they take of our lawn, which includes quite a few flower and shrub beds that have to be trimmed with each mowing.  They are very careful.  On the additional services such as aeration, fertilization, leaf removal, we greatly appreciate the manner in which the work is done and the employees checking in with us to ensure our satisfaction.  A very professional, consumer friendly, organization with great employees.

Craig and his team did an excellent job with our patio installation. From the initial design, to modifications along the way, they were very responsive in ensuring we got exactly what we wanted. His team was very friendly, professional and spent time each night cleaning up the yard and driveway. The time it took to complete the project was reasonable, and the end product is excellent. I would highly recommend this company.

Shaerer Lanscaping (Gareth) provided us with the design and were very accomadating to the changes we made before and during the project. During the actual project, Gareth was alway available, but the bulk of the work was done by Justin and two other crew member. They were (including Gareth) all very respectful, punctual and profesional throughout the process. We met the owner after the project was finished but we never felt like there was a need to see him as thing went very well from the start to the end. We would recommend them without any hesitation.

They have reasonable prices I haven't had any issues with their services. They come out on a at need bases so we usually use them twice a year.

After some initial communication issues, They showed up when they said they would, did a great thorough job and in less time/cost than promised.

Craig is the owner of the company and was a great individual to work with. Craig is an honest and upfront individual. Craig came to the house several times and worked very well with us to make everything we wanted to happen, happen. The employees' that Craig employs are friendly and profession individuals.
My wife and I actually had a quote from Shearer the season prior and couldn't afford what we wanted. Craig did not try to sell us something we wouldn't want or push us into a job knowing we were above our price range. Craig was honest and told us to wait until we could get more of what we wanted. Most business would gladly sell you anything or convince you to over extend your budget.
This project was a major project for my wife and I and she would call Craig on the phone at 8 or 9pm in the evening when she returned home from work to express concerns for the patio and Craig would come over in person and work out the details and ease my wife's concerns. Craig Shearer Landscape is not the cheapest company you will find, but for the quality of the work, design, and product, along with the professionalism of he and his staff I would spend the extra money every time.

They were very easy to work with.

I spent about $6000 at that time. They did a very nice job. They were very responsive. There was always somebody around. The crew was very nice. They explained what they were doing very clearly. I will use them again in the future.

I have a difficult lawn because I have a lot of odd shaped beds to mow around. I am also very picky about how the lawn looks and about keeping grass clippings out of the beds. Craig Shearer was very responsive when I called. John Welcome is in charge of the mowing services and called me right after I talked with Craig. He and his crew were out the next day to confirm the price and to mow. They did a great job. I have decided to have them mow on a regular basis.

Overall, I could not be happier with Shearer Landscaping. Their work is top notch and their prices are very reasonable. It is obvious that Craig takes a lot of pride in doing the job the right way the first time.

He and his workers were really perfectionists. They had much of the back paver wall up when they noticed that is was off by about 1/4". They ripped it all out and started over. Their paver work was excellent. They built a very strong base by compacting a few inches at a time. Most landscapers would put all of the fill in and then try to compact it all. Their paver work was some of the best that I have seen. The plantings went well and followed the plans very well. The project took a little longer than expected, but we had a lot of rain and they were very methodical to make sure the everything was done correctly. We were very impressed with their workmanship and follow-through.

They are very cost efficient. Every time I have a problem, the owner will be the one to get back to me and they are normally out to fix the problem the next day.
