They came out the 17th and 18th of September. They were very hardworking, polite people. When they started tearing it up, they noticed that the previous job had poured it 8 inches, and usually it is only 4 inches. It was $1000 more than expected because of that. They never asked me how thick it was but, they could have checked before they started the job. They waited until the concrete was on it's way and the driveway was already torn up to tell me that it was going to cost more than I expected. The price was unexpected and disappointing. There is no more standing water against our house but, unfortunately it has pushed the water to another area of the driveway! We are trying to decide now what to do about that.
