Lambert's Landscape & Lawncare says on their website "We show up!", and they really do! Anyone who has tried to hire service professionals has probably experienced the frustration of calls not returned, being ghosted at appointments, or never getting follow-up about quotes. But that's not Matt and his team -- I was so impressed with how responsive Matt was from the initial contact. I was also pleased when I got the quote and found it to be very reasonable. And I was even more impressed when they came to do the work. The guys put in a long day to finish our project, and their work exceeded my expectations. Even better, they impressed my husband (who openly admits he doesn't care about our landscaping and isn't inclined to spend much on maintaining it), so he's already on board with hiring them again in the future. So glad to have found our go-to landscaper!

We were very satisfied with the work done. The sod is looking great, and the accent lighting that Matt suggested is the talk of the block and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend working with Lambert's!

Outstanding job by workers, Collin, Jacob, and David. Professionally edged beds surrounding my house as well as a large bed in the back yard, as well as neatly mulched all beds to my liking. Workers were pleasant and polite and clearly wanted to ensure my satisfaction. Price was very fair. Would hire again without hesitation.

Matt and his men did a wonderful job of replacing our paver stairs. They were very timely and responded to any questions quickly. One done Matt made sure we were satisfied and did some touch ups that we asked about. I would definitely hire again and strongly recommend for your landscaping needs.

Matt is very good. We had our brick pavers put in a few years ago with someone who didn't do a good job. He didn't even use the correct supplies and our porch was sinking. Matt is fixing it and gave us options on how to fix without spending or tearing out the whole thing. Very responsive and when he says he is going to be at my house he shows up. Did a great job on the mulch etc. we will use him every year now. Thanks Matt

I received the quote and accepted it. It was higher than I expected, but I needed to get the work done as soon as possible. We agreed that, weather permitting, the work would be done by Father's day, or at the latest, the week after. During that time I received no communication on when the work would be done. I knew it would be delayed because of all the rain but no one contacted me to confirm that. Finally on June 21 two guys showed up unannounced and said they were here to edge my beds and complete the project. The lead guy was Mark. He told me they would edge, take the dirt off site to dispose of it, bring the topsoil back for the new bed, then drop off the rest of the topsoil to another job and return with the mulch and complete the job. Things seemed to be going smoothly but when they left to drop off the extra dirt to another job they said they would be back but never returned. Mark gave me his phone number and I called him around 5 pm and he said that the job where they were dropping off the extra dirt took a lot more time than expected, but that he would be back on Saturday or Monday to complete the job. I did not see him on Saturday or Monday. I called him on Monday in the afternoon and said his boss told him not to come on Saturday and to work on some other jobs on Monday rather than complete mine. I emailed the owner later that week and asked for an explanation and he said that Mark screwed up and he would send him out to complete the job over the weekend. I did not tell him what Mark told me. I then told the owner that something didn't add up and why would he throw Mark under the bus. I also stated I was done with them and to bill me for the work completed. In my opinion, the owner was ultimately responsible for getting my job completed. Whatever happened between Mark and his boss and the owner is not my concern but my job was not completed in a timely manner. The owner never tried to call me to make things right, he just sent me a bill for work completed. POOR communication and customer service. I can't be more disappointed.

The crew was very polite and when my husband had questions everything was answered.

Matt is always responsive to our requests. The crews provided quality service and listened to our requests. Lambert’s made sure all snow was cleared and took care of our many leaves in the fall. We were very pleased with all services. We will miss them when we move.

Very professional work.

This was my first time using this company and everything went very well. Matt and his crew did a great job with all the landscaping cleanup . They pruned about two dozen bushes and shrubs around the perimeter of the house, some of which were very overgrown. They edged and weeded all the mulch beds around the house and at the rear of the property. New mulch was put down in all beds and a couple of trees in the front had limbs removed to clear space over a sidewalk. I was leaving to go out of town the morning they came out so I didn't get a chance to go over everything in detail and when I got back there were a couple of minor pruning items that needed to be touched up. Matt was very accommodating and sent his crew back out a couple of days later to take care of the things I requested. I was very happy with the work and customer service from Matt and the guys. His estimate was very reasonable for the work that was done and I plan to use him again in the future.

Matt and his crew installed an amazing patio and firepit for us, and the entire experience with Lambert's was top-notch. This started with the very first meeting with Matt, who took time with us to fully explain the process, materials, and options. We learned a lot about patios during that meeting from him! We knew quickly after that first meeting we wanted to work with him - he was professional, yet warm and friendly...knowledgeable, and very patient with our questions. He came with ideas to help us design the outdoor space we wanted, yet always listened to our own ideas to help mesh the two together. He was eager to show us how valuable his services would be to us. His crew did the work quickly, and Matt responded to any additional requests or questions we had while the work was being done, as well as completed any final punch-out issues timely and with enthusiasm. Additionally, we loved the idea that he was a local Lewis Center and Olentangy business owner, and that we could support that. Highly recommend!

They did a great job. The sod they brought was beautiful and is all growing nicely. They were responsive to my needs and courteous. Would hire again.

Matt was very responsive to my request for a quote, and came out withing days to review the job and provide a menu-style quote that listed all the items we wanted and some we thought we'd like. We settled on the scope and waited for Mother Nature to cooperate. At the first reasonable break in the weather, the crew arrived and got right to work. They brought in and spread 14 yards of topsoil and hand-spread it with rakes to get the grading correct, hand-spread the seed, then laid out straw mat over the whole area. The crew introduced themselves upon arrival, set up in a way to minimize mess and inconvenience, worked efficiently and quickly but carefully, as they had to maneuver around some fragile areas and structures, and got the job done in half the time I expected. Matt came out to assist in the latter stages of the work and to ensure everything went well. We did have some minor communication gaps between quote and completion, but in the end, I am very pleased with the work that was done, at a price I felt was very reasonable. I plan to work with Lambert's again this Fall to install some additions to our landscaping.

I can not say how well the entire process went. Matt was very responsive from the first time I contacted him to the very end. He was very professional and the quote he gave me was very competitive. His crew was also very professional and showed up on time. I would defiantly use them again and fully recommend them.

Everything went well. They were able to fit me in their schedule right away, as their workers were in the area at the time I called. They did a good job.

Very bad experience.

Excellent work from a crew that took pride in the job. The guys made sure all the mulch was evenly spread and tidy. They cleaned up the area and left our property looking better than ever.

Matt came out and worked with my wife and I twice to get our wishes onto paper. The staff was very professional and worked quickly and professionally. Matt personally worked with us to get our landscape lighting just right. The final job looked great and again, Matt and his staff were great and good people. I would recommend and would use them again.

Great! Matt was very responsive and worked with me on scheduling the estimate. He came up with a plan for fixing my lawn that was thousands less than several other quotes I received. We agreed upon the timing that the work would be done, which was a couple of months out. I didn't have to follow up with him - he showed up exactly when promised and completed the work in one day. He advised me on a watering schedule, and the grass filled in nicely.

Matt was ABSOUTLEY wonderful to work with from start to finish. While we originally only hired Lambert's to do the up lighting on our house, we went ahead and had them do our fall clean up as well as freshen up our mulch. Our house looks great! The team that showed up to work was very friendly and appeared to really enjoy their job. We enjoyed our experience so much that we are now working with Matt on a new paver walkway & driveway. Lambert's was a great choice.

Work was done in a day by multiple Lambert employees. Good work and I was very happy with results. Lambert's guarantees their trees for a year. Lambert's came out after the work was done and straightened two trees that went crooked after all the rain. Happy with the work and would hire Lambert's for future landscaping.

Weeds were removed and mulching was performed but no follow-up control as quoted to remove re-emerging weeds. Dead plants were not replaced. Called later to request follow-up control and was told associate would arrive next day but never arrived or reason given for not responding. Never did receive quote on retaining wall.

Mulching/edging was fine, but the brick patio repair was exceptional...looks like new.

It went very well. Matt, the owner, was very professional. He was willing to work with our ideas, and gave very helpful suggestions. He has a passion for his work, has an exuberant personality, and is a stickler for detail. His team of employees were very respectful and cleaned up at the end of each day. They used a leaf blower to remove dust from my garden beds and hosed down the plants, which I thought showed a care for my yard. Matt is a hands-on owner and wasn't afraid to chip in right along with his crew.
