Home Depot Home Services went out of their way to avoid providing even the hint of "service". Their motto "I put customers FIRST" is a travesty. The contact was signed March 30, 2017. The counter tops were installed on September 7, 2017 and the refacing was completed during the third week of October 2017. My project was nothing more than an inconvenience to the local Home Depot Home Services operation. If I tried to contact them I was told the individual taking care of that:: 1. is busy. 2. is not in at the moment. 3. is on maternity leave. 4. will get right back to you. (They didn't.) Disinterest in providing me with information on the project was their primary objective. It is sad that a corporation would be that callous to a customer. Even sadder is the fact that I fell for it.

They had a sale price and then they gave us a veteran's discount which was really nice because my husband is a veteran. They were very, very good. The salesman was wonderful and they were great about the promptness of the delivery. Although the delivery team does not work directly through Home Depot, I think they are subcontracted, but they were wonderful. They explained everything to us and hooked everything up and it was ready, working great when they left. The selection and their customer service were very good.

The salesman came to our house in October 2014.  He brought a number of samples of cabinet doors so that we could see what they looked like in our kitchen. Home Depot requires that you pay the entire cost up front, before the work starts.  In order to get the best price, we had to place the order and pay the full amount that day.  So we did.  Shortly afterwards, a technician came to the house and measured all the cabinets. The salesman predicted it would be 10-12 weeks before the work could be scheduled.  We expected it would be after the holidays.  In January I called to inquire about scheduling, and received a date of February 2.
The installers, a man and a woman team, came on February 2.  They completed most of the work in two days.  However, six of the cabinet doors were damaged in shipping and had to be re-ordered.  The installers returned in about 10 days to install the remaining doors.  One door was incorrectly installed; it was in the corner and wouldn't open far enough to allow the roll-out shelf to work. So they turned the door upside down and put the hinges on the opposite side.  That left some drill holes in the door.  The installer promised to order another door and come back to replace the one with the holes.  We were out of town for a couple of weeks, and when we returned, I called to inquire about that door.  The installer came in a day or two with the replacement.
We are very pleased with the result.  The kitchen looks great, and the re-facing is of very good quality.  It was just a good thing that we were not in a hurry to get the installation completed.  The installers were very professional and neat.  They took great care to keep dust to a minimum, and they continually vacuumed.  When I called the office about scheduling, I got a real person to talk to, and they were quite responsive.  We didn't like that we had to pay the whole amount more than 3 months before the work started, but it did not turn out to be a problem.  They completed everything to our satisfaction with no hassles.
