Firestone did exactly what I asked and gave a full evaluation of what else could be done on the truck. While giving a list of options and costs, did not pressure or guilt me into having any other work done.
Pleased with the way I was treated hand have used sense on our other car.

WARNING!!! I took my Suburban in to have 2 new tires put on and an oil change. I dropped the car off the night before so they could service it first thing in the morning. I never heard from them come 2pm so I called, they said they had it up on the lift and were looking at it, they'd call back after to let me know when it was done. I didn't receive a call until 5:30p, they said I needed new ball joints in addition to the tires and oil change, the total cost exceeding $2000. I asked how long that would take and they told me they couldn't get to it until the next day. Well needless to say I was a bit upset since I had an appointment for over 2 weeks to have the vehicle serviced and come 5:30p NO work had been done other than looking at the car. I couldn't have the ball joints replaced because I was leaving to go out of town in the morning. I was told as long as I had them replaced in 1-2 months I should be ok. WELL, I took my vehicle to another service shop that I have used in the past and was told there was nothing wrong with my ball joints. In addition to that, Firestone didn't properly reset my tire sensors causing me to ignore a low tire pressure light because when I would check the tire the car said was low my tire gauge said otherwise, it was actually the rear tire that they had rotated and not reset the computer on the car. I ended up with a flat tire that need to be plugged and I had to pay the other service center to reset the computer. Something that should have been done when I spent $500 on tires at their shop. In addition to that I was told I needed an oil change. I explained I just had a SYNTHETIC oil change ($75) one month ago. The oil sure didn't look like that. BUYER BEWARE!!! Total scam shop!!

Service was prompt and courteous. Store provided a ride to and from work. Price definitely beats the oil change specialty shops and I didn't feel pressured to purchase other services.

Had made an online appointment but when I got there they did not have a record of it in their system. So I waited about 2 hours for the complete service. Would recommend calling for appointments rather than using the online system. During my wait, they said I needed an alignment and suggested I buy the lifetime alignment service for about $150 (a single alignment costs about $80). After the tires were installed on my 2002 Acura MDX, I was surprised that the tires were not shiny like those in the showroom. When I pay about $800 for high end Bridgestone tires, I was kind expecting they would look bright and shiny when they came out with my car. When I paid the bill, they said one of my front struts was leaking and needed to be replaced soon. They gave me an estimate for replacing the struts and rear shocks for about $600. They also included an estimate for a fuel system cleaning for about $100. Have read several forums that say a fuel system cleaning is not necessary for an Acura MDX that uses premium fuel.
