DOMICILE PATIO AND HEARTH

Domicile and Bill were a disappointment. We were told that our logs would be ordered and arrive within a week of purchasing them. Two weeks and no logs later, Bill told us that they would definitely be in "this week". One week later, we were told they would be in "the middle of next week." After four weeks and no logs and no communication from Domicile (phone calls to them during business hours were always routed to voice mail and never returned), we called and left a message that we would like to cancel our order and would expect a call back. Two days later, we still had not heard from Bill. We called again saying that we would like to cancel our order, receive a refund, and were expecting a call back. NOTHING! We ended up having to dispute the charge through our credit card company in order to receive a refund. It has been eight weeks and we have never received any communication from Domicile.

HE HAS COMPLETED SOME OF THE WORK BUT GIVES EXCUSES WHY IT IS NOT FINISHED. TO DATE HE HAS HAD 11 'NO-SHOWS', 4 OF WHICH HE CAME AFTER WE TRACKED HIM DOWN. DOMICILE IS VERY UNRELIABLE. IT IS 7 MONTHS LATER AND WORK IS UNFINISHEd. Update: This company went out of business. Schneider has opened another fireplace business on Oakland Park Ave.
