They rescheduled our appointment several times due to weather. Sometimes not even calling to say they wouldn't be coming that day. The day they came they did not call me to tell me and I came home to the driveway sealed and a large hole where there was none before. Took photos and sent them to the company, they called back right away to say that they didn't cause the hole and didn't do anything about it as it was considered asphalt repair and not sealing.
I emailed them to let them know I would be paying the bill but that I wasn't happy with the overall service. I can understand it is possible that when sealing the driveway some of it might have come lose, but: 1) they should have noticed this in the initial inspection and quote process and 2) they should have called to tell me about it, rather than discovering it when I got home.
There are a lot of companies out there that do this kind of work- I would look elseware beofre I hired this company.
"We provided Member with an estimate to perform asphalt maintenance services at a residential address in Columbus. Member responded to our bid stating he wanted us to perform work on this property and that he would mail payment that day to our business address. I didn't receive the check but we performed the work as Member stated (no check was visible at the door on the day(s) work was completed). I emailed our invoice to Member's email address as is our normal practice. The invoice states that payment is due the same day work is complete. No payment was received so seven days after the invoice was emailed I called Member - no answer. I then called Member and he stated he would call me back later that night or the next morning to get our mailing address for sending payment. Member never called back. Several days later I called Member and stated to her that it was very important that she make payment as soon as possible. She stated that a check would be mailed later that week. No check was received. Member called me a few days after my conversation with Member screaming at me about calling him, Member and his family. He again stated a check had been sent but nothing had been received at that point. He also provided me with his attorney's information and instructed me to make all future contact through him. I contacted the number provided and was told Member was not a current client of that firm. Finally, about 10 days after this last contact with Member I called Member and she agreed to make payment over the phone. This was nearly 30 days after service was complete. In the background I could hear someone yelling that a check was in the mail. A check was never received."
