I contacted Jacob's and was told the driver would be there in about an hour. The driver showed up in about 45-60 minutes and was VERY professional, super nice, and he knew what he was doing. They towed my car without any problems. I am not sure about the price... that's why I gave them a B. But I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Towing service is very professional as well and is when we first discovered Jacob's. Over the past several years we have trusted them with all our auto repairs - excellent job replacing an engine at a very good price, for example. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else!!

FYI: Jacob's Towing is as much a service center as a towing service. I took my boy's and quot;newand quot; used Mazda truck there for a used car check up and to have major fluids flushed and replaced, to give him a good healthy start with the vehicle. They did a great job, were very thorough and gave us good information about what might become a problem in the future. We got good service for a good price. I will go there again if we need auto service in the future.

My 2006 Honda Civic needed to be towed from one location in Lebanon to a service garage since the engine fluids leaked out of it due to a cracked block. Jacobs Towing was prompt and professional. The location we towed the Civic to the first time ($79 tow fee) couldn't resolve the issue so we called Jacobs a second time to have the vehicle towed to another garage($97 tow fee). Jacobs met us at the garage and arrived before we did! They were again very professional and got our Civic towed to its final destination. We will be using Jacobs for our towing needs again!

This story is as much about the bad service I got at a Toyota dealership as it is the great service I got from Jacob's. Initially the Toyota service dealer claimed I had blown a fuse, they needed an hour to confirm with diagnostics and repair it, and I authorized this service. The next day Toyota called to tell me that they had spent three hours so far and couldn't figure out what was wrong and they wanted my authorization for another 5 hours (at $92/hour - $478 +tax!) to try to figure it out. When I said I think I'd be better off with my trusted auto service I was fed a line about him not being "Toyota Certified" and not understanding these foreign cars. That was all I needed to hear. I called Jacob's and spoke with Chris, told him about my problem and he immediately rattled off 4-5 things that could be wrong with my car, one being the problem he found and fixed. He said it didn't sound right that Toyota dealer service needed 8 hours to diagnose an electrical problem. He said he could take my car apart in an hour and a half and tell me everything that was wrong, and after this visit - I believe him. I decided to pull the plug with Toyota and I'm very glad I did. Jacob's happened to have a wrecker in the area, and I gave the dealer service about 15 minutes' notice that my car would be picked up. Toyota had my car in pieces, which they put in a box and left on the seat. The tow driver said they were very upset I was towing my car out of there. Jacob's needed a couple of days to get to my car, which is to be expected from a high quality - very busy shop. Chris called me back to explain that he didn't understand why Toyota had my car in pieces; rule number one for electrical problems is to have all the electrical components on the circuit otherwise any testing is inaccurate and wasted effort. He said he put my car back together and found a bad body ground wire. It was replaced and he ran a thorough diagnostic and confirmed everything else was in good shape. He said he didn't know what they were doing at Toyota, and I said I was pretty sure at this point, and he agreed that yes, they were probably trying to rip me off. Here's the breakdown of the $400 cost: tow was $150 due to mileage - (a tow is less or even free in some cases with Jacob's), putting my car back together was $69 and running the diagnostics was ~$140, and fixing the problem that the Toyota dealer service couldn't find - $20. With tax it was close to $400. - I wasted over $200 with Toyota and they wanted another $500 from me. If I had gone to Jacob's to begin with, my cost would have been much lower.

I have had two vehicles serviced at Jacobs a total of four times - all different issues, and I have been very pleased with the honesty, service and costs. I would and will visit them for my car services in the future. Hopefully, I won't need their towing service, but I can recommend that as well.
